My Thoughts on the May 12th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:

My Thoughts: An all-around solid episode of Monday Night RAW. I enjoyed the opening sequences of CM Punk with Sami Zayn as they were brawling with the newly formed stable of Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins. The matches on the show were done well, I didn't think there was one mediocre match, as all of them were up to par and delivered for me as a viewer. The storylines and matches very vastly improved since WrestleMania. Since the dull and uninspiring road to Mania, I think ht product has got a new light and breath of air because it has been delivering and been enjoyable. television next week's card looks fun, and I can't wait.

The May 12th | Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW | The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Penta vs. Chad Gable (with Ivy Nile) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: **** | This was a lot better than their first match, and their first match was amazing as well. I love how aggressive Penta was off the start, having a lot of anger after being cost the chance of being WWE Intercontinental Champion because of El Grande Americano. This was hard-hitting and very much fun. The chemistry they have is so good because I feel like these men can't have a bad match with each other. I know where this feud is leading to a mask vs. mask with El Grande Americano getting involved. But that being said, Penta has become one of the most popular acts, and ot's nice to see being treated like the star he is. Great match and huge momentum boost for Penta.

2nd Match: American Made (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | A little fun tag team match. I didn't expect the Creed Brothers to win; I thought more wins for the War Raiders, so they can get back into contention for the WWE World Tag Team Championships, can regain the titles they lost at WrestleMania. But the Creed Brothers getting the win, I wasn't mad at They've been lost in the shuffle and need some tag teams other than the War Raiders winning. RAW needs to start using different teams because I feel like we see the same team a lot frequently, and give The New Day a match in the future, their run has been boring as champs, they have done nothing notable since WrestleMania.

3rd Match: AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor (with Carlito & JD McDonagh) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ****.25 | This was such a fun match. I love the fact that this was given a lot of time, so they can dish it out. I don't care what year it is, I always pop for a Finn Balor or AJ Styles Match. I grew up watching them, and they'll always have a place in my wrestling fandom. But this match also showed that both men can still go in the ring at a high level. The fans were chanting "This is Awesome," like this is what I want to see: weekly matches that are long and are very entertaining. AJ Styles got the win, and Penta came out and attacked the Judgment Day with the fans popping crazy. A fun match with the right results. I hope the Finn Balor turn is coming soon because I need the babyface Finn Balor so he can take over again. But more of this weekly, please.

The Main Event Match: Iyo Sky & Rhea Ripley vs. Giulia & Roxanne Perez in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **** | This was a hell of a main event. I thought this would help elevate Giulia and Rxanne Perez and fully establish them on the Main Roster. Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley were a very fun tag team. The match itself was so much fun. This was a fun, red-hot tag team match filled with everything the crowd loved it and I was loving it. You've got four of the best to offer in this business, dishing it out in the Main Event Match. I think Triple H has done a great job booking Giulia and Roxanne Perez, even though they have lost every match thus far, they have looked strong, and even in defeat, got put over. Big things for both of them, I do hope this feud isn't over because I want that Iyo Sky and Giulia match that everyone has been wanting since she signed with WWE from Stardom last year.

The May 12th | WWE Monday Night RAW | The Match of the Night: AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor (with Carlito & JD McDonagh) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ****.25

The May 12th | WWE Monday Night RAW | The Episode Grade: 7.50/10 (B) | A fun episode of Monday Night RAW. This has been WWE's most consistent show. I can’t remember the last time they put out an awful episode of Monday Night RAW. Many storylines progressed, and we got a new match for Saturday Night Main Event. Overall, a very solid show put together. And next week, the card is looking very strong.
