My Thoughts on the May 19th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:

My Thoughts: The overall show was very enjoyable. However, the opening segment was quite mediocre. I don't think Logan Paul is a good promo at all, but Gunther saved the segment. Of the five matches on the show, the majority delivered for me and served a purpose. My thoughts go out to Zoey Stark after the injury she sustained. The main event match was great in terms of the chaos it brought, and it was a solid go-home show before WWE Saturday Night Main Event. The after-match activities were impressive.

The May 19th | Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW | The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: The Judgement Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) vs. AJ Styles & Penta in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **** | This was a very fun tag team match. I love the fact that AJ Styles and Penta were wearing the same color attire; they looked like a tag team. But this was so much fun and a great fun to open up Monday Night RAW. The Judgement Day went back into their element and had a great tag team performance. I always forget that Finn Balor and JD McDonagh were a solid tag team unit. Carlito was a difference maker; he was causing disruption on the outside and attacking Penta and helping Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to get the upper hand on things, but AJ Styles put a stop to that. El Grande Americano gave a headbutt to Penta, which knocked him out. This allowed Finn Balor to pull him back into the ring and deliver the Coup de Grâce to get the victory. Afterwards, AJ Styles went to the aid of Penta to see what happened, but this was a good opener match, and the very fun tag team of AJ Styles and Penta.

2nd Match: Roxanne Perez vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya in a Triple Threat Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | This was a very solid triple-threat qualifying match. Love the fact that a veteran presence of Natalya was involved with this match, she did a wonderful job in this match, she had many moments like the double sharpshooter on Becky Lynch and Roxanne Perez, and she was manhandling a lot of people in this match. Roxanne Perez had some good moments in this match, and Becky Lynch was everywhere in this match. As she hit the Manhandle Slam, Lyra Valkyria dragged her out of the ring and brawled on the outside, which allowed Roxanne Perez to hit pop-rocks and get the victory, and is the second woman added to the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. But I wanna see more of Natalya in the future getting matches.

3rd Match: Sheamus vs. Grayson Waller (with Austin Theory) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | This match served its purpose of helping rebuild Sheamus after returning a couple of weeks ago. A little side note, the chant for Austin Theory was very shocking. I have a feeling the face turn is on the horizon, but it won't happen until the middle of the summer. Grayson Waller had a very solid performance, but he and Austin Theory had a little bit of tension. But Sheamus got the victory after hitting the Brogue Kick to the face of Grayson Waller. I wonder what his next feud will be because I would enjoy it if he had Rusev's first feud since returning to WWE.

4th Match: Rhea Ripley vs. Kairi Sane vs. Zoey Starks in a Triple Threat Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match | Match Rating: N/A | To start it off, I pray for Zoey Stark a speedy recovery that was the nasty injury she had, and I hope she's all well. The match was heading in a good direction before the untimely injury of Zoey Stark. Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane did a great job redirecting the match after that and had a decent singles match to kinda save it. Rhea Ripley's dropkick to Kairi Sane was such a cool moment in the match. But Rhea Ripley got the win and is heading to Money in the Bank., I believe this is her first WWE Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, which is insane. But I don't believe she'll win the Briefcase. I think she is added for the star power she possesses.

The Main Event Match: Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker (with Paul Heyman) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | This was a red-hot main event. I like when these two face off because this is one of the few wrestlers Jey Uso has great chemistry in the ring. The match itself was a solid one. Jey Uso was dishing off anything to get Bron Breakker down, but not a lot of things were working. Bron Breakker is a freak athlete, and Paul Heyman was doing his little shtick outside, trying to cause chaos on the outside. Paul Heyman got Jey Uso foot which caused Jey Uso to go face-to-face with Paul Heyman which allowed Seth Rollins to attack him from behuind and start a two on one beatfdown but before anything Sami Zayn came out the n seconds later to an Attitude Era level pop CM Punk came to even the odds and a brawl ensued with them eventually brawling in the crowd. But Jey Uso would go out with a bang as Logan Paul punched him to knock Jey Uso out, to stand tall. This was great all around, and the post-match activities were great. I enjoyed this.

The May 19th | WWE Monday Night RAW | The Match of the Night: The Judgement Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) vs. AJ Styles & Penta in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ****

The May 19th | WWE Monday Night RAW | The Episode Grade: 7.25/10 (B-) | We got five matches, and I am happy this episode was around the matches that were listed. My prayers to Zoey Stark as I hope she recovers after her nasty injury she sustained in her match. But this was a solid episode before the WWE Saturday Night Main Event show that’s happening this Saturday.
