My Thoughts on the May 26th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:

My Thoughts: A very solid all-around episode of Monday Night RAW. The opening sgement did its job in establishing why Bronson Reed was added really excited to see what he does unsegment leadership of Paul Heyman. We had a fire opener where we saw some hard-hitting and some high-flying action. I liked the fact that Penta was in the Men's Ladder Match, and I also liked how Dragon Lee was protected and didn't take the pin. El Hijo del Vikingo helped Penta get the win after ambushing Chad Gable, which adds more fuel to their match at WWE World Collide, which is rumored to be for the Triple-A World Championship. Rusev made quick work out of Akira Tozawa, and later Sheamus confronted him, which, down the line, a future match between the two will happen, which I'm excited about. The Triple Threat Tag Team Title Match was probably the weakest match on the show, the crowd got into and I wish there were some added minutes, but the New Day retained. I hope their reign ends soon, it has been awful and bland. Jey Uso and Gunther had a solid segment, kinda reminded me of one of their segments for their WrestleMania build, but Gunther duel well on the mic as he gave some good points. Liv Morgan and Kairi Sane had a very fun singles match. I'm glad to see Kairi Sane back she adds a lot of depth to the roster and really can help the mid-card scene a lot on the women side of things but really solid match Roxanne Perez try to help Liv Morgan which didn't wwork as it cost her the match and niow more drama between The Judgement Day and Roxanne Perez. Lyra Valkyria had a very solid promo performance against Becky Lynch and really held her own and sold the match well for the Money in the Bank Match, where the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship will be on the line again. The Main Event Match was awesome, had everything: the drama, the near-falls & chaos. Seth Rollins punched his ticket to the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the first time since 2022. Overall, a very fun episode of Monday Night RAW, can't wait for the go-home show before Money in the Bank.

The May 26th | Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Penta vs. Chad Gable vs. Dragon Lee in a Men’s Money in the Bank Triple Threat Qualifying Match | Match Rating: ****.25 | The match was incredibly intense, and the crowd was fully engaged. I enjoyed this contest, especially since it featured two great luchadors alongside Chad Gable. The in-ring action was hard-hitting and full of aerial maneuvers. Chad Gable experienced some tough moments, taking several hard falls on his head. El Hijo del Vikingo had a confrontation with Gable, who attacked him while he was at the ringside. However, Gable ultimately had the last laugh as he set up Penta to secure the victory and earn his ticket to the Men's Money in the Bank Match.

2nd Match: Rusev vs. Akira Tozawa (with Maxxine Dupri) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: N/A | This was a decisive squash match dominated by Rusev. Akira Tozawa tried to get some effective offense right from the start, but nothing worked. Rusev hit him with a running kick and quickly put him in the Accolade to secure the victory. After the match, Rusev refused to let go of the hold until Sheamus came out to save Akira Tozawa. This led to a face-to-face confrontation between Sheamus and Rusev, two men with a lot of history as they were once friends and part of the same stable. It looks like Rusev's first official feud upon his return to WWE will be with Sheamus in the coming weeks, likely leading into a wrestling-oriented battle that I’m looking forward to.

3rd Match: The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs. American Made (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) in a Triple Threat Tag Team Title Match for the WWE World Tag Team Championships | Match Rating: *** | This was a very decent first title defense for The New Day. The match didn't start as every team was ganging up on one another. I thought the match went by quickly. I wish there were a couple more minutes because it started to pick up, and the crowd was starting to get into the match. The War Raiders had some fun offense in this match, same with The Creed Brothers, they were having a great performance in the match, and working in an alliance with The New Day. The New Day tricked the Creed Brothers and rolled them up to get the win and retain their WWE World Tag Team Championships in their first title defense since winning the titles at WrestleMania in Las Vegas. The New Day and American Made seem like the next feud ready to be loaded up, which I hope ends with the Creed Brothers getting some gold, as it has been long overdue for them, as they are one of the most underrated tag teams at the moment in WWE, in my opinion.

4th Match: Kairi Sane vs. Liv Morgan (with Raquel Rodriguez) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | This was a good little bout. I like the bumps Kairi Sane was taking, she was getting back where she left off. Liv Morgan, as usual, looked solid. Both of these wrestlers gel well in the ring. There was a lot of back-and-forth action in this match. But I did enjoy this match. I thought Kairi Sane was going to lose after Roxanne Perez tried to help out Liv Morgan, which caused issues on the ring-side as Raquel Rodriguez had some issues with it. But Kairi Sane got the win with a roll-up, a great way to reintroduce her. Kairi Sane should be in the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship scene in the future, as she would add depth to that. But issues now are going to rise with Roxanne Perez costing Liv Morgan her match.

The Main Event Match: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn in a Men’s Money in the Bank Triple Threat Qualifying Match | Match Rating: ****.50 | A hell of a main event, you have three of the top stars of RAW fighting for a spot in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, you'll get a hell of a match, which we did. The start of the match started well, then it just picked up with time. What I liked was that Frog Splash by Seth Rollins, which had a long distance, but he got it seems to have gotten his knees functioning well nowadays. Sami Zayn was everywhere in this match, from doing exploder suplexes to dives on the outside, he was everywhere. Finn Balor was that little sneaky one as he tried to capitalize on everything but didn't. As Sami Zayn hit his helluva kick, trying to win, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed made their presence known and attacked Sami Zayn, but the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Jey Uso, tried to level the odds, but it didn't work as he got speared in half by Bron Breakker. Dominik Mysterio try to help his stablemate from The Judgement Day Finn Balor out but it didn't work as he try to slide a chair which was positioned not quite near Finn Balor which allowed Seth Rollins to hit a Curb Stomp on Finn Balor onto the chair to secure a spot in the Men's Money in the Bank Match. After the match brutal attack wasn't over for Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, but CM Punk came out and gave Seth Rollins a GTS to end the show. A great main event match with some chaos to end everything off, great stuff.

The May 26th | WWE Monday Night RAW | Episode Grade: 8/10 (B+) | This was one hell of an episode after having a horrid Saturday's Night Main Event episode this was a good refreshing episode of Monday Night RAW.
