My Thoughts on the September 15th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW:

My Thoughts: The latest Monday Night RAW served as a very solid go-home show leading into WWE Wrestlepalooza. I especially enjoyed the opening with John Cena, and the AJ Lee/CM Punk interactions, plus their confrontation with Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, added excitement. The matches were all decent, with no real disappointments. I’m now even more interested to see if Wrestlepalooza delivers, and I hope they add a sixth match to round out the card. Overall, this was a strong episode.

The September 15th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Lyra Valkyria vs. Roxanne Perez (with Raquel Rodriguez) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.50 — This will be a Future Mega Match at WrestleMania. These two had a great feud down in NXT, and it has reignited as Lyra Valkyria took on Roxanne Perez in a very fun opening contest. Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez have solid chemistry with each other, and it was very evident as the match was flowing. Lyra Valkyria got the win but was jumped afterward by Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez joined in, but seconds later, Bayley came to make the save. The weird thing was that Bayley was portraying her Hugger Gimmick afterwards, which made everyone confused. So she has a split personality, which I actually quite think will be interesting, how they book this. But soon it'll be a Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez Tag Team Match in the coming weeks or months.

The 2nd Match: Penta vs. Kofi Kingston (with Grayson Waller & Xavier Woods) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: **.75 — This was a very standard match, nothing crazy besides that sick Springboard Mexican Destroyer that got Penta the win. I do like the fact that Penta is getting a lot of wins, but he hasn't had his signature win yet, like the one that is major for him in WWE. But the back-and-forth action was generic, nothing that I haven't seen. The New Day tried to cost Penta, but it didn't work as Penta intercepted Grayson Waller's attack with a Superkick, and after that, you know the rest: a Springboard Mexican Destroyer and Penta got the win. But later on in the night, The New Day brutally attacked Penta with a chair, and The War Raiders, seconds later, came and attended to Penta. This is leading me to believe the Lucha Bros reunion is upon us, as Rey Fenix's plans have been scrapped with Andrade's departure, as they were supposed to win the WWE Tag Titles at Clash at Paris. But this story is getting interesting as I feel like Rey Fenix is coming, and this would be a major boost to the lackluster RAW Tag Team Division.

The 3rd Match: El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: **** — The recent push for Dragon Lee has been one of the fresh things on Monday Night RAW. His involvement in two stories with the Judgement Day, and the El Grande Americano's with the alliance of AJ Styles has been something I have been enjoying. This match was super fun, probably the best match from the show. Ludwig Kaiser has done a fabulous job as El Grande Americano, and now he has a stable with Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, who are under a mask. AJ Styles tried to stop them, but it didn't work as they overpowered AJ Styles to help El Grande Americano get the win. What I found interesting is that Ludwig Kaiser, Pete Dunne, and Tyler Bate are there going to be a pay, will this be the next Imperium once everyone is revealed, and is the next henchman for Gunther again? I do hope this payoff is an AJ Styles, Dragon Lee, and Rey Mysterio vs. Ludwig Kaiser, Pete Dunne, and Tyler Bate Six-Man Tag Team Match at a PLE. But I had a lot of fun with this. I really like that this story involves so many great wrestlers.

The 4th Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Kairi Sane (with Asuka) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — This was a very stiff match, which I enjoyed. Adding to the enjoyment of this match is seeing the hard strikes and fun action, which makes it a pass for me, as you get to see both wrestlers in their element. Stephanie Vaquer got the win to add much-needed confidence before her huge WWE Women's World Title Match at WWE Wrestlepalooza against IYO SKY, whom she went face-to-face in the ring after the match. And the Asuka heel turn is growing as she's becoming a rebellious individual who's controlling IYO SKY every move, but IYO SKY is starting to pull back, but it can't be the same for Kairi Sane. This has been the best story being told in WWE, with Asuka controlling and trying to tell IYO SKY and Kairi Sane what they need to do with Rhea Ripley trying to aid IYO SKY, which is making Asuka irate.

The Main Event Match: The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed) vs. Jimmy Uso & LA Knight in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: **.25 — I really wish they could change the Main Event Formula, it's the same matches over and over, but this time Jimmy Uso is tagging with LA Knight as he takes on The Vision's own Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. This match was like every Tag Match, with the Vision being solid in the ring, and drama after the match. But I will say this I'm en joying the story being told between Jey Uso and LA Knight it seems like one of them are on the verge of turning hgeel and I don't know who it will be but my gut is saying Jey Uso with the way he has been acting as of late kinda protraying himself as Roman Reigns from 2020-2021 with the attitude shift and the controlling aspect about him which seems crazy to me but I actually like it because ikt makes sense. So with the coming weeks, I'm interested to see how things play out, and I want to see if Jey Uso or LA Knight will turn heel and align with the dark side.

The September 15th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW  The Match of the Night: El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ****

The September 15th Episode of WWE Monday Night RAW — The Episode Grade: 7/10 (B-) — A very passable go-home show before WWE Wrestlepalooza. I liked the John Cena opening segment, as with the AJ Lee, CM Punk stuff, going face-to-face with Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. The matches on the show were solid; there wasn’t a very poor match because I thought the matches were fine. I’m interested to see how WWE Wrestlepalooza goes, and I want to see if the show delivers. Hopefully, they add a 6th Match to the Match Card, but other than that, it’s a very solid and strong episode of Monday Night RAW.
