Thoughts on the September 9th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Thoughts: This episode was fun, and it we found out what three matches that will be happening at WWE next Premium Live Event, WWE Bad Blood. Kicking the show off we saw a fun opener involving the members of The Wyatt Sicks, and American Made in a Eight - Person Tag Team Street Fight which had The Wyatt Sicks coming out victorious and ending their feud with American Made. Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill defended their titles against former champions The Unholy Union in a successful title defense. Gunther confronts Bret Hart with Sami Zayn coming out and fighting off Gunther, and saving Bret Hart from the disrespect Gunther was displaying towards the legend. Dominik Mysterio gets help from Liv Morgan to secure the victory against Dragon Lee. Natalya returns and helps Lyra Valkyria, and Zelina Vega take down The Pure Fusion Collective. Rey Mysterio gets brutalized by Finn Balor which caused their match to end in a No DQ. Drew McIntyre, and CM Punk is announced for WWE Bad Blood in a feud ending Hell in a Cell Match. In the Main Event we saw Jey Uso earn a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the near future. Fun episode, and very excited for next week show.

The September 9th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, & Nikki Cross) (with Uncle Howdy) vs. American Made (Brutus Creed, Chad Gable, Ivy Nile, & Julius Creed) in a Mixed Eight Person Tag Team Street Fight Match - Match Rating - **** - This was a very fun opening match, American Made did a great job helping establish The Wyatt Sicks on RAW, they didn't win a single match against them but they gained a lot and I expect this stable to go on a tear now that I'm assuming their feud with The Wyatt Sicks is now officially over. Nikki Cross suplex on Chad Gable was a thing of beauty that, and Chad Gable table spot were fun. I thought every member of The Wyatt Sicks did a great job in this match they are over, and now the whole group can move on from American Made, and target someone else, and I'm very interested to see who they feud with next. Overall fun opener, and both teams killed it.

2nd Match: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) vs. The Unholy Union (Alba Frye & Isla Dawn) for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships - Match Rating: ***.25 - This was a decent title defense, I thought all ladies in the match did a fairly good job, I wonder who's next for Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill, I would hope Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane), I hope Unholy Union stay on TV, I don't want them to be reglated to being jobbers for the women's tag division or strictly on WWE Main Event Tapings these ladies can be vocal points in the women's division, and tag division have them do something and keep building them up more so when both ladies when they eventually be singles stars, and Alba Frye in WWE as a singles star has accomplished a lot same with Isla Dawn they can both go and do damage.

3rd Match: Dominik Mysterio (with Carlito, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, & Liv Morgan) vs. Dragon Lee (with Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, & Rey Mysterio) - Match Rating: DUD - Very disappointing match noting both of these guys have good in - ring chemistry with each other, I'm very much tired of the booking of Dragon Lee as he continues to lose in Tag Matches, and Singles bouts, on the bright side he's in a feud with The Judgment Day, and will be on TV but can he at - least rack up a win he already lost to Carlito, and Dominik Mysterio in singles matches on RAW, hope a push is coming because how he was on NXT was perfect to what he is now he just directionless, and just stuck in L.W.O.

4th Match: Lyra Valkryia, Natalya, & Zelina Vega vs. The Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, & Zoey Stark) in a Six - Women Tag Team Match - Match Rating: *.75 - Welcome back Natalya this was brief match and Pure Fusion Collective get defeated. I'm very glad Natalya is back she adds that veteran presence on RAW for the women's division and I'm excited with alliance she has with Lyra Valkryia, and Zelina Vega.

5th Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Finn Balor - Match Rating: **.75 - It was an okay match until Finn Balor snapped and had Rey Mysterio in a hold, while he Wass screaming in pain. Finn Balor looking like sorta his New Japan self the cocky, evil, and sadistic version I'm hoping soon the Demon comes out, and make an appearance as Demon Balor vs. Priest in the future can happen. Overall okay match, I understood the after match stuff just to make Finn Balor look menacing.

The Main Event Match: Jey Uso vs. Pete Dunne vs. Ilja Dragunov vs. Braun Strowman in a Fatal - Four Way Match in the Final Round of the WWE Intercontinental Championship Number One Contenders Tournament - Match Rating: ****.25 - I thought this match was very fun, Ilja Dragunov as per usual displaying why hes one of the best in wrestling today, Pete Dunne had a great showing, we saw Braun Strowman wrecking everyone before Bronson Reed came from the crowd and hit a huge Tsunami onto the table which took him out the match, and Jey Uso capitalized as he pinned Jey Uso for the one, two, and three and now can face Bron Breakker for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Fun main event, and every person in the match showed out.

The September 9th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Match of the Night: Jey Uso vs. Pete Dunne vs. Ilja Dragunov vs. Braun Strowman in a Fatal - Four Way Match in the Final Round of the WWE Intercontinental Championship Number One Contenders Tournament - Match Rating: ****.25

September 9th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Show Grade: 8.25/10 (B+) - I thought this was a great episode of Monday Night RAW, we saw the returns of Bret Hart, and Natalya, and we saw Jey Uso be next in line against Bron Breakker, and we found out CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre III will be taking place inside a Hell in a Cell a fun episode with solid matches, and story progressing segments.

Next Week September 16th, Edition of WWE Monday Night RAW Announced Matches & Segments:

  1. The Judgement Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) (c) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) for the WWE World Tag Team Championships
