Chicago’s Own CM Punk will finally have his 1st Title Defense since winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back at November’s Saturday Night Main Event. The January 5th Edition of WWE RAW is Stranger Things — The Episode Rundown:

  • The Vision has been the thorn in CM Punk for the majority of 2025. CM Punk managed to become a 6x WWE World Champion in November, but it came at a expensive of The Vision being more determined to take him out. At WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, we saw Bron Breakker pin CM Punk to win his team the WarGames Match, which also guaranteed him a shot in the future for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, as he did in fact pin the World Champion. Bron Breakker threw shots at CM Punk, AJ Lee, and his Wife, and he had some fiery passion as he wants to put down CM Punk and become WWE World Champion. CM Punk returned weeks later and delivered a cut-throat promo, throwing shots at Bron Breakker and his family, which caused Bron Breakker to spear CM Punk in half. This match is much more than a World Title Match; this match is personal, as both men threw shots at one another, dished out attacks, and even caused disruption. CM Punk is looking to put up a solid fight as he'll be going up against one of the best young wrestlers in the world in Bron Breakker, as they'll Main Event tonight's Monday Night RAW Episode. Who'll come out on top? Who'll manage to come out as WWE World Heavyweight Champion? What'll it take? Tonight's Main Event is must-see television.

  • The Kabuki Warriors have been making IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley’s life a living hell for the latter part of 2025. Asuka and Kairi Sane manage to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions after beating Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair in the Main Event of one of the Monday Night RAW Shows. They have been attacking and tearing down IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. But tonight, the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles are on the line in a Star-Studded Tag Team Title Match. After pinning The Kabuki Warriors on the recent episode of SmackDown, IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley have much-needed momentum heading into this match. Can IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley become WWE Women's Tag Team Champions? Or will The Kabuki Warriors find a way to put down IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley once and for all and still be the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions?

  • Gunther will be on tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW. Last week, he made an example out of R-Trith and beat him in a matter of minutes. As he continues to torment the crowd and remind them that John Cena tapped out, will someone manage to shut up Gunther, or will the beration and humiliation continue tonight?

  • Maxxine Dupri will take on one of the biggest rivals in her short career in Becky Lynch, as he'll put her WWE Women's Intercontinental Title on the line tonight against Becky Lynch. Maxxine Dupri defeated Becky Lynch on the RAW MSG Episode to become the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion. Maxxine Dupri is 1-0 in her title defenses as he took down American Made’s own Ivy Nile, but Becky Lynch returned and attacked Maxxine Dupri, which promoted this rematch. Can Becky Lynch regain the title she lost? Or will another major upset happen tonight on Monday Night RAW?

  • WWE Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will have a special interview to kick off the 2026 year. After retaining her title last week against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez. What are the plans in store for Stephanie Vaquer for this year, and will she be calling out some new, fresh competitors?

  • Liv Morgan will have her first match since June of 2025 as she takes on Lyra Valkyria in a Singles Match. Last week, Lyra Valkryia went into the RAW General Manager’s Office of Adam Pearce and asked for anything, and the match was made official later on in the week. Two of the best in the RAW Women's Division will go toe-to-toe. Lyra Valkryia is looking to start her 2026 with a win over the 2x WWE Women's Champion, as she has the upper hand, noting Liv Morgan is going to deal with major ring rust from being gone for a long time.

  4. Liv Morgan vs. Lyra Valkyria in a Singles Match.
