My Thoughts on the WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Money in the Bank:

My Thoughts: This was a fantastic Money in the Bank event, significantly better than last year’s show. The Women’s Ladder Match was impressive. Octagon Jr. and Dominik Mysterio had a brief but entertaining match, and I hope they can have a rematch in the future. Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch delivered the Match of the Night, with Becky Lynch emerging as the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Seth Rollins became a two-time Men’s Money in the Bank winner after outlasting five competitors. The Main Event was quite average, but we saw the return of Ron Killings in WWE, who assisted Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in defeating John Cena and Logan Paul to end the show. Overall, it was a strong event, and now we head toward Night of Champions.

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Money in the Bank | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Giulia vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Stephanie Vaquer in a Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match | Match Rating: ***.75 | A very up-and-down match, but it picked up in the halfway half. I thought the start of the match was very bland, but once the big spots started to come, that's where the match picked up for me. I liked how every woman involved had a big moment in the match. Giulia and Roxanne Perez worked briefly with each other. Rhea Ripley had some brief moments when I thought she was going to win. But I was very happy that my pick for this match won in Naomi. She 100% deserved this. She worked so hard this past year and has done a great job, and I'm glad she is holding the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase. A solid opener for Money in the Bank.

2nd Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) (with Liv Morgan) vs. Octagon Jr. in a Singles Title Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship | Match Rating: **.25 | This was a fine filler match, but I was enjoying the in-ring action. In thought, this would go for a good eight to ten minutes, but four minutes is wild. Wish this match could have had more time. But Octagon Jr. had a good showing overall from his Worlds Collide and at Money in the Bank. Dominik Mysterio played his role well in this match. Liv Morgan cost Octagon Jr. his chance to end the match, and Dominik Mysterio hit a Frog Splash to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship. A fun little filler match.

3rd Match: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch in a Singles Title Match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship | Match Rating: ****.50 | Easily the Match of the Night for Money in the Bank. The 2nd Match between these women on the main roster and another classic between these two. This has been one of the best women's feuds on the main roster in a long time. This whole feud has been elevating Lyra Valkyria in many ways because she has been killing it. This match was so much fun, seeing both women who have great chemistry with each other wanting to tear each other apart. I thought Lyra Valkyria was going to retain with help from Bayley, but Becky Lynch shocked everyone and beat Lyra Valkyria and became the new WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion. Afterwards, both made a deal, and Lyra Valkyria, in defeat, raised Becky Lynch's hand, but Becky Lynch wanted to humiliate her more, but Lyra Valkyria didn't take that lightly and started attacking Becky Lynch to a loud pop from the crowd. This was an all-around masterful match with great after-match antics.

4th Match: Seth Rollins (with Paul Heyman) vs. Andrade vs. El Grande Americano vs. LA Knight vs. Penta vs. Solo Sikoa in a Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match | Match Rating: ****.25 | One of the best Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Matches since the 2021 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, where Big E won. This match was chaotic, and a lot of interferences happened during this match with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed clearing out the ring to help Seth Rollins have a chance to win the Men's Money in the Bank briefcase. Jacob Fatu finally had enough of Solo Sikoa and attacked him, putting him through a ladder. Andrade and Penta have amazing spots, with El Grande Americano having one of the best Money in the Bank spots in recent memory, with LA Knight giving him a mega suplex off the top. This match was very entertaining and very much overbooked, but it was enjoyable, and Seth Rollins is now a 2x Men's Money in the Bank winner, and he's also there to get what he wants, and that's the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The Main Event Match: Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso vs. John Cena & Logan Paul in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **.75 | This match wasn't fun. This was just another boring Main Event with finisher spams by John Cena, and Cody Rhodes was the only good wrestler in this match, and he was trying his hardest to make this match work, but he did all he could. Logan Paul had some cool moments, but that's it. Jey Uso was superkicking everything in sight and was sluggish in the ring. Cody Rhodes had some good in-ring moments mixed with some nice counters. Ron Killings made his return to WWE and helped Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso win the match as he blasted John Cena with the WWE Championship to get his revenge on John Cena after what happened at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. I thought Seth Rollins was going to tease a cash-in and thought Roman Reigns was going to return, but I was very happy to see Ron Killings back after being released, which was the wrong choice, and I'm glad he was re-signed to WWE. Overall, a bland Main Event.

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Money in the Bank | Match of the Night: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch in a Singles Title Match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship | Match Rating: ****.50

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Money in the Bank | Event Grade: 7/10 (B-) | This was a solid Money in the Bank event. Way better than last year’s show, I’ll say that. The Women’s Ladder Match was very solid. Octagon Jr. and Dominik Mysterio had a quick match, but it was a fun little filler match hope they can run that back in the future. Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch had the Match of the Night as Becky Lynch is now you’re new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Seth Rollins became a 2x Men’s Money in the Bank winner after outlasting five other men. The Main Event Match was very average, but we got to see the return of Ron Killings in WWE as he helped Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso to beat John Cena and Logan Paul to close out the show. Very solid show, now we are on the road to Night of Champions.
