My Official Thoughts on the June 9th Episode of WWE NXT:

My Official Thoughts: Strong episode of NXT takes out that abysmal Dion Lennox & Jasper Troy match, it would've been rated higher. But there were four very solid matches, RAW & NXT with back-to-back shows having strong in-ring material. I really like how NXT is establishing these new talents after NXT got gutted from their top stars heading to the Main Roster. HBK has been doing a great job with the Post Je'Von Evans & Oba Femi Era. With the Men’s Roster starting to be put together, we know the few who'll be Main Event in the future.

My Official Match Ratings for the June 9th WWE NXT Episode:

The Opening Match: Fraxiom (Axiom & Nathan Frazer) vs. Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: **** —Fraxiom showed in this match why they're easily the best Tag Team within the WWE Brass today, and it's crazy they haven't even won the WWE Tag Team Titles. Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno had a great performance as tag team partners. This match showed why Fraxiom is one of the best tag teams in the world when given the chance to really wrestle in their fast-paced style. For Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno, they are a future tag team I can see making waves in this much-needed help WWE NXT Tag Team Division.

The 2nd Match: Nakaru vs. Mason Rook in a WWE NXT Title No. 1 Contender’s Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — EVIL, I mean Naraku, is now heading to WWE NXT Great American Bash to take on Tony D'Angelo for the WWE NXT Title, as he defeated Mason Rook to secure that chance at the event. This match was decent to me, nothing too special. I kinda knew EVIL was going to come away with the win, with how they built him up, and kinda hinted at being the one who possibly dethrones Tony D'Angelo for the WWE NXT Title. Mason Rook will eventually have his moment, but for now, he's going to have some side-quest feuds. He's gonna be someone who becomes a huge star in NXT. If John Cena believes in you, then you’re going to make it far within WWE.

The 3rd Match: Kendal Grey vs. Kelani Jordan in a WWE Women’s NXT Title No. 1 Contender’s Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 —Excellent No. 1 Contender's Match as Kendal Grey is now facing Lola Vice for the WWE Women's NXT Title, in the future at WWE NXT Great American Bash. Now let me say this, Kelani Jordan is amazing, I do think it's time for her to move to the Main Roster, as she has done everything there's to do in NXT, in my opinion. I think her on Monday Night RAW would be a great, much-needed boost to the show, and provide someone who can be a great threat in the Women's Mid-Card Scene, and also to note that one of her best rivals is holding the WWE Women's Intercontinental Title, whom she had many amazing matches with in Sol Ruca. So I think it's time to give Kelani Jordan that Main Roster call-up.

The 4th Match: Dion Lennox (with Osiris Griffin) vs. Jasper Troy in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: *.50 — If they take this match out, this would've been one of the best NXT Episodes of this year. This match wasn't good. Jasper Troy isn't good at this wrestling thing, and that's why NXT is here to help develop, but it’s been almost a year, and no true development has been shown. Dion Lennox is in the midst of being targeted by Saquon Shugars as he took out Cutler James, and he added another on his list as Osiris Griffin got attacked with the steel bat onto his leg, which caused him to be in much pain. Now that Saquon Shugars took out both of the DarkState Members, now there's one, and it's Dion Lennox.

The Main Event Match: Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Zaria in a WWE Women’s NXT North American Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.75 — A very good Main Event Title Match, as finally Zaria is the new WWE Women's NXT North American Champion; she's finally the champion in NXT. Now I saw on Social Media after this awesome match, Tatum Paxley said her goodbyes to the NXT Universe, as it seems like she's moving to the Main Roster. Tatum Paxley improved a lot from 2022 to now and managed to win every Women's Title in NXT. Now she's heading to the Main Roster. I wish her nothing but the best, and wish her to kill it on the Main Roster.

My Official Match of the Night for the June 9th Episode of WWE NXT: Kendal Grey vs. Kelani Jordan in a WWE Women’s NXT Title No. 1 Contender’s Match | The Match Rating: ****.25 — Kendal Grey now faces Lola Vice for the WWE Women’s NXT Title at WWE NXT Great American Bash. Kelani Jordan, who has excelled in NXT, should move to the Main Roster. Her presence on Monday Night RAW would boost the show and add a strong threat to the Women’s Mid-Card, especially since her top rival, Sol Ruca, holds the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title and they’ve had many great matches. It’s time for Kelani Jordan’s main roster call-up.

My June 9th Official Episode Grade for WWE NXT: 8/10 (B+) — NXT delivered another strong episode, held back only by a subpar match between Dion Lennox and Jasper Troy. Between RAW and NXT, WWE has provided two consecutive nights of excellent in-ring quality. Shawn Michaels deserves a lot of credit for how he is rebuilding the brand following the recent main roster call-ups. This "post-Je'Von Evans and Oba Femi" era is successfully establishing fresh faces, and the future main-eventers of the men's division are already starting to stand out.
