My Official Thoughts on the May 26th Episode of WWE NXT:

My Official Thoughts: Decent Episode of NXT, I thought this episode felt like a filler because of the outside of the Main Event. I wasn't like in my mind, oh, this could be major later on. But the ending of NXT had me excited, we saw in the far distance Saquon Shugars hovering over DarkState.

The May 26th Episode of WWE NXT — My Official Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Kelani Jordan vs. Wren Sinclair (with Kendal Grey) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: *** — A decent opener of a match as Kelani Jordan, who suffered a loss to Wren Sinclair’s tag partner, Kendal Grey. But Kelani Jordan got the win back as she got the win in this very decent opener. The NXT Women's Roster is very deep, and actively the best thing on NXT. But man, can we get Kelani Jordan next to feud with Lola Vice for the WWE NXT Women's Title?

The 2nd Match: Dorian Van Dux vs. Sean Legacy WWE Speed Title No. 1 Contender’s Tournament First Round Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This was a very fun Speed Match. But this match ended in a No Limit Draw, which I guess protected both men, but these two should start doing some notable things instead of the constant Speed Tournament Matches they always seem to be in.

The 3rd Match: Jaida Parker vs. Layla Diggs (with Nattie Neidhart) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Layla Diggs is now on NXT, she's going to be a great addition for this Women's NXT Roster. Her match against Jaida Parker wasn't long, but she showed off in this match. I do like that Nattie is in the corner of Layla Diggs. I wonder if this could lead to an NXT Underground Match against Jaida Parker in the future?

The 4th Match: Romeo Moreno (with Noam Dar) vs. Nathan Frazer (with Axiom) in a WWE Speed Title No. 1 Contender’s Tournament Final Round Match | The Match Rating: N/A — A shocking upset. 2026 hasn't been the best year for Fraxiom as it continues to get worse, as Nathan Frazer, in a shocking fashion, lost to Romeo Moreno, and now next week has the chance to face Lexis King for the WWE Speed Title next week on NXT.

The 5th Match: Shiloh Hill vs. Charlie Dempsey (with Arianna Grace, Channing Lorenzo, Lexis King & Uriah Connors) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ** —This was an okay match, nothing too special. Shiloh Hill got the win against Birth Right Charlie Dempsey. But then we saw Tristan Angels come out, and in Two Weeks, there’s going to be a funny segment, I suppose, with these two. But this match was mediocre to okay. I don't know if. Birth Right even a serious threat; the booking for them has sucked.

The Main Event Match: Lola Vice (c) vs. Izzi Dame (with Niko Vance & Shawn Spears) in a WWE NXT Women’s Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — A very fun main event between Lola Vice, who was defending her WWE NXT Women's Title, against Izzi Dame, as their feud was built properly. I did enjoy this match, the chaos that ensued. But in the end, Lola Vice got the win, and retained her WWE NXT Women's Title as now she looks to focus on her Six-Women Tag Team Match this Saturday as she tags with Bayley & La Catalina as they take on Los Toxicas.

The May 26th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — My Match of the Night: Lola Vice (c) vs. Izzi Dame (with Niko Vance & Shawn Spears) in a WWE NXT Women’s Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — A very fun main event saw WWE NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice successfully defend her title against Izzi Dame after a well-built feud and chaotic match. With the win, Lola now turns her focus to Saturday’s Six-Women Tag Team Match, teaming with Bayley and La Catalina against Los Toxicas.

The May 26th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — My Official Episode Grade: 5.75/10 (C) — Decent episode of NXT, but it mostly felt like filler outside of the main event. The ending, though, got me excited when Saquon Shugars appeared in the distance, hovering over DarkState.
