The Opening Match: Pete Dunne defeats Trick Williams via Pin - Fall (13:00)
2nd Match: Kelani Jordan (c) defeats Tatum Paxley via Pin - Fall, to retain her WWE NXT Women's North American Championship
3rd Match: Ethan Page (c) defeats Oro Mensah (with Jakara Jackson, & Lash Legend) via Pin - Fall, to retain his WWE NXT World Championship
4th Match: Joe Hendry defeats Joe Coffey (with Mark Coffey, & Wolfgang) via Pin - Fall (8:12)
5th Match: Wren Sinclair (with Charlie Dempsey, & Myles Borne) defeats Kendal Grey (with Carlee Bright) via Pin - Fall (4:15)
The Main Event Match: Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) defeats MSK (Wes Lee & Zachary Wentz) (with Trey Miguel) via Pin - Fall, to retain their WWE NXT Tag Team Championships (10:31)
Thoughts on the August 6th Edition of WWE NXT The Great American Bash (Tag Two):
Thoughts: This was a fine episode of NXT, they've been consisitent for a while now. I love the Main Event, and I love the heel turn of Wes Lee gives him a new element to his chacracter now I wanna see why he did what he did. But overall great episode.
The Shows Match Rating:
The Opening Match: Pete Dunne vs. Trick Williams - Match Rating: ***.75 - I was happy that Pete Dunne got the victory because they need to continue to build Pete Dunne back up again, I like that he has so much going on at the moment with WWE Speed, NXT, and his feud with Sheamus on RAW, and for Trick Williams he had decent showing he's improving but I do see these two running it back in the near future don't think this feud is over just yet.
2nd Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Tatum Paxley for the WWE NXT Women's North American Championship - Match Rating: ***.50 - Very solid bout and defense for Kelani Jordan her title run been solid thus far and the matches been pretty solid. Tatum Paxley I can see in the future eventually holding that title but now she gonna be in a feud with Wendy Choo after she attack her after the match.
3rd Match: Ethan Page (c) vs. Oro Mensah (with Jakara Jackson, & Lash Legend) for the WWE NXT World Championship - Match Rating: *** - This was Ethan Page first title defense, and it was okay. I expected Ethan Page to win, and Oro Mensah is so underrated I really hope eventually he gets a title because he just can go in the ring and has great charisma.
4th Match: Joe Hendry vs. Joe Coffey (with Mark Coffey, & Wolfgang) - Match Rating: *** - Average Match, Joe Hendry as expected gets the win, and is gonna continue his feud with Gallus as on TNA Impact he's facing Wolfgang tomorrow.
5th Match: Wren Sinclair (with Charlie Dempsey, & Myles Borne) vs. Kendal Grey (with Carlee Bright) - Match Rating: N/A - Nothing much, Wren Sinclair won and joined Charlie Dempsey group which is sweet, but other than that this match was okay.
The Main Event: Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) vs. MSK (Wes Lee & Zachary Wentz) (with Trey Miguel) for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships - Match Rating: ****.25 - Very solid main event, with the heel turn of Wes Lee after the match I really thought MSK were gonna be a 3x WWE NXT Tag Team Champions but now we got a broken stable, and a Heel Version of Wes Lee.
The Shows Match of the Night: Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) vs. MSK (Wes Lee & Zachary Wentz) (with Trey Miguel) for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships - Match Rating: ****.25
