Thoughts of the Premium Live Event | WWE NXT Vengeance Day in Washington D.C. | Live Event Show:
Thoughts: This was easily the best NXT PLE since NXT Heatwave. Outside of one match the rest of the card was delivered. We got to see a new stable debut, Jordynne Grace make her return to NXT, and we got a new WWE NXT Women's North American Champion in Stephanie Vaquer. The best match of the night had to be Fraxiom (c) vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships. I thought the pacing of the show was solid, and I enjoyed the crowd as they were very active throughout the show but overall solid show. Now we start the build towards NXT Stand and Deliver.
WWE Premium Live Event | WWE NXT Vengeance Day in Washington D.C. | Match Ratings:
The Show Opener Match: Fallon Henley (with Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx) (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer in a Singles Match for the WWE NXT Women's North American Championship | Match Rating: ***.75 | This was a very solid opener. I knew Stephanie Vaquer was gonna win and be the new WWE NXT Women's North American Champion. Fallon Henley had a solid reign as she elevated the belt. Stephanie Vaquer, I'm expecting, is going to be a very long reign with the championship. But the match itself was very back and forth Stephanie Vaquer gave a lot of offense. Fatal Influence interfered to try to get Fallon Henley to get the win but it didn't work as Stephanie Vaquer pulled away with the win and won her 1st title in WWE.
2nd Match: Fraxiom (Axiom & Nathan Frazer) (c) vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura in a Tag Team Match for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships | Match Rating: ****.50 | This was the Match of the Night. What a damn match between these two teams. Yoshiki Inamura had an amazing showing in this match. The NOAH Pro-Wrestling Wrestler delivered big time in this match as his chemistry with Nathan Frazer and Axiom was there. Josh Briggs played his role as the athletic big man in this match. But Fraxiom got the win. After the match, a new stable appeared as the group consisting of Saquon Shugars, Dion Lennox, Cutler James, and Osiris Griffin rushed the ring and took out both teams to stand up tall.
3rd Match: Eddy Thorpe vs. Trick Williams in a Strap Match | Match Rating: **.75 | Probably the worst match on the card. I thought having it as a strap match would make this match better but it didn't I was surprised that Trick Williams took the loss. Trick Williams's booking since losing the WWE NXT Championship hasn't been good and we know he's going to the Main Roster soon and probably be one of the next Superstars of WWE once arriving. Eddy Thorpe in his PLE Debut got the win which is very shocking as he has been in the mid-card majority of his NXT run. But this match wasn't good and very forgettable.
4th Match: Ethan Page vs. Je'Von Evans in a Singles Match | Match Rating: **** | This was a hell of a match in my opinion. This was the 3rd best match on the card. It over-delivered in my opinion as I thought these wouldn't In my opinion, this was an incredible match. It ranked as the third-best on the card. I felt it exceeded expectations, as I initially thought the competitors wouldn't have great chemistry, but they proved me wrong. I expected Je'Von Evans to win, but he ultimately lost, with Ethan Page claiming victory over him. I believe this feud is far from over; Je'Von Evans will likely seek revenge against Ethan Page. If that doesn't happen, I think Ethan Page is ready for the main roster. Je'Von Evans, should aim for a title and target the WWE NXT North American Championship.
5th Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. Grayson Waller vs. Austin Theory in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE NXT Championship | Match Rating: ***.50 | I enjoyed this Triple Threat Match. The ripples in A-Town Down Under were shown throughout this match as both men gave each other a chance to win the match. At one point Austin Theory hit his finisher and was about to win the match before Grayson Waller pulled the referee out of the ring to cost him his chance of being the new WWE NXT Champion. Oba Femi rebounded and caught Grayson Waller to get the win. Afterward, the new stable reappeared and took out Oba Femi with a flying quadruple powerbomb.
The Main Event Match: Giulia (c) vs. Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Cora Jade in a Women's Fatal-Four Way in a WWE NXT Women's Championship | Match Rating: ****.25 | All the women involved showcased their talents. We are potentially seeing Roxanne Perez's last match in NXT before her Monday Night RAW debut, where she will face Raquel Rodriguez in a Women's Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. Cora Jade had an impressive performance and looked great throughout. Giulia, as always, performed like one of the best. Bayley contributed her veteran experience to the match, assisting with many of the spots and moves. Jordynne Grace made a significant impact at the end of the show by appearing while Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer were in the ring, targeting Giulia for the WWE NXT Women's Championship.

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE NXT Vengeance Day in Washington D.C. | Event Grade: 8.25/10 (B+) | A very enjoyable event. Outside of one bad match the rest of the card delievered in my opinion. This was the best NXT PLE since NXT Heatwave.
