Thoughts of the Premium Live Event, WWE Bash in Berlin:

Thoughts: A brief summary of my thoughts on this event, I thought it was a very solid event, every match was pretty good. One issue I've is the fact every event is only five matches I really hope that changes and they bring it back to being seven matches per event because the ads, and commericals are so annoying. But other than that very solid event, and now onto the build for WWE Bad Blood.

WWE Premium Live Event, WWE Bash in Berlin Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship - Match Rating: ****.25 - This was a very fire opening match by these two, it started off slow but picked up with due time. Kevin Owens trying to forget his old ways and not cheat to win actually cost him to win. Cody Rhodes got the win with a Cross Rhodes. This match was very fun, the fans were very behind it. But my question is this will Kevin Owens turn heel in the coming weeks? He could’ve won if he capitalize on the knee injury Cody Rhodes had and could’ve ended it with a Powerbomb on the apron. But we’ll have to see these coming weeks. Again solid start to open the show.

2nd Match: The Unholy Union (c) vs. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships - Match Rating: **.75 - It was an okay tag team match it really picked up towards the end. Also, I’ve to say Jade Cargill hot tags are amazing they really get the crowd going, and Bianca Belair is really one of one with her performance. Now I hope also, they don’t make Alba Frye, and Isla Dawn go back to being in the background and have nothing going because I really want too be used on a weekly basis because they’re both talented and have great characters if they allow to show it to the WWE Audience. But an okay match and we now have new champions in Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill.

3rd Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match - Match Ratings: **** - CM Punk showed people he can still put on good matches in WWE. What a fun strap match this match was way better than their SummerSlam Match in my opinion. Drew McIntyre blindsided CM Punk to weaken the “Voice of the Voiceless” and try to get the upper hand and get all four corners to secure the victory but CM Punk out of nowhere hits a G.T.S. but instead of hitting the corner he started hammering away on Drew McIntyre which had the crowd on their feet, and going crazy. The outside action was great we saw a lot of chaos and I loved it and at one point CM Punk was busted open but not a lot but their visual of blood coming from his forehead. Then to end it CM Punk hit multiple G.T.S.’s to get the victory and now it’s 1 - 1 in the series between two men. I assume at WWE Bad Blood the end of the feud will happen inside a Hell in a Cell. Overall fun match, hope the end of this feud is coming so both men can have some fresh stuff to do on Monday Night’s.

4th Match: Terror Twins (Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley) vs. The Judgement Day (Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan) in a Mixed Tag Team Match - Match Rating: ***.75 - A very epic match between both teams, I have too say Liv Morgan gave a performance of a life - time. The crowd was red hot especially for Rhea Ripley who finally got her hands on Dominik Mysterio and gave him a whooping. The rest of The Judgement Day came out, and try to help but it didn’t work at all as The Terror Twins got the victory as Rhea Ripley pinned Liv Morgan for the one, two, and three. Fun match I’m assuming at WWE Bad Blood we’ll see Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor, and Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship in a Hell in a Cell which I’m highly excited about.

The Main Event Match: Gunther (c) vs. Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Match Rating: ****.50 - What a match, I’ve to give my flowers to Randy Orton because he’s on the best run of his career in - terms of his in - ring work because he been consistent with his matches and hasn’t had a stinker in a super long time, and also gotta give flowers to The Ring General Gunther as he put on a show in front of his hometown crowd. Gunther is arguably a top three wrestler in the world and what he gave in this match is that no one in WWE outside of Ilja Dragunov can replicate what he does in the ring. But awesome match, and I wonder who’s next for Gunther as WWE Bad Blood is approaching in a few weeks. Hopefully maybe Ilja Dragunov can finally face his greatest rival.

WWE Premium Live Event, WWE Bash in Berlin Match of the Night: Gunther (c) vs. Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Match Rating: ****.50

WWE Premium Live Event, WWE Bash in Berlin Show Grade: 8.25/10 (B) - This was Triple H best booked event since Backlash this was a very safe show, and everything delievered.
