Thoughts of the Premium Live Event, WWE Bad Blood Premium Live Event Show:
Thoughts: A very solid event. The opener we had potentially the WWE Match of the Year with CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match which was amazing from start to finish. Nia Jax's and Bayley had a very solid title match with Tiffany Stratton trying to cash in her briefcase but that just causes more drama between her and Nia Jax's. Finn Balor suffered a lost against Damian Priest even with help from The Judgement Day he just couldn't get the win. Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley had one of the worst matches of this year even with the return of Raquel Rodriguez the fans seemed to not care whatsoever. The Main Event match was decent but that wasn't the important part we saw the returns of Jimmy Uso & The Rock to close out the show. Solid event overall can't wait to see the aftermath from this PLE on RAW & SmackDown this week.
WWE Premium Live Event, WWE Bad Blood Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match - Match Rating: - ****.75 - This was easily WWE Match of the Year. It had everything storytelling, violets, blood, chaos, and high emotions. CM Punk looked amazing in this match he had a fantastic performance same goes with Drew McIntyre both men deliver and this whole feud delivered. Now that the feud is over I wonder whats next for CM Punk and Drew McIntyre but again this was an amazing match. This is how WWE should do every Hell in a Cell Match because this was perfect. Amazing match, great ending to the potential feud of the year for WWE and for wrestling in 2024.
2nd Match: Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley for the WWE Women's Championship - Match Rating: ***.75 - Was a very solid title defense. Bayley looked solid in this match had a very good showing. Nia Jax I don't know what happened but she has been putting together a lot of solid matches since her return to WWE last year she looked very good in this match. Tiffany Stratton teased a cash in it looked like she was about to finally cash in after months of holding on to the briefcase until Nia Jax's popped up and saw what had happened which allowed Nia Jax's to get Bayley and retain her championship. Very solid title defense, the story being told for Nia Jax's & Tiffany Stratton is very interesting and will progress as months fly by and soon we'll see a babyface Tiffany Stratton.
3rd Match: Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor - Match Rating: ***.50 - This could have been a lot better if a stipulation was added but the match itself was pretty solid. The chemistry between Damian Priest & Finn Balor has always been good dating back to their very good NXT Match. But this match there was some cool spots didn't like the fact that Damian Priest won the match I felt like Finn Balor needed it more unless this leads to the Demon Balor coming for the eventual last match of the feud. The Judgement Day coming out to help I thought Finn Balor was about to get the win but Damian Priest kicked out. South of Heaven for the win and I just hope for the next match a huge stipulation is added because it needs one if it's a quote on quote blood feud but wish Finn Balor won Damian Priest didn't need the win.
4th Match: Liv Morgan (c) (with Dominik Mysterio) vs. Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women's World Championship - Match Rating: DUD - This match wasn't good whatsoever. The shark cage was pointless because Dominik Mysterio found a way out of the cage, Liv Morgan didn't look good whatsoever in the match, Rhea Ripley had one of her down performances which is super rare because he's one of the best in the business today. Didn't have that Raquel Rodriguez return fell flat with the fans as no one even popped for it. I'm assuming now she has joined The Judgement Day in some form. But I really hope this Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley feud ends soon because it hasn't hit and been a huge letdown.
The Main Event Match: The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa) vs. Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns - Match Rating: ***.50 - A solid tag team match, I thought it was a fine main event. Jacob Fatu was the MVP of this match he shined like crazy. We got to see Roman Reigns finally wrestle for the first time in a long time and it looks like he didn't miss a step whatsoever. Cody Rhodes risking his body and had a crazy dive onto the table on the outside. But we saw Jimmy Uso make his return, and The Final Boss has arrived back to WWE as The Rock is officially back with his return at the end of the Bad Blood PLE. Very solid match now the story is hitting a new gear with Jimmy Uso & The Rock returning back from there long hiatus.
