WWE Premium Live Event | WWE SummerSlam — The Show Previews List:

  • John Cena became a 17-time WWE Champion at WrestleMania 41, taking down Cody Rhodes using dirty tactics and with the help of Travis Scott. John Cena turned against the WWE Universe at WWE Elimination Chamber after a vicious attack on Cody Rhodes as he aligned with The Rock and Travis Scott. He made it his mission to “Ruin Wrestling,” something he wanted to do, and take the current WWE Title away so he could be the last World Champion. This greed and corruption made John Cena not live by the words he upheld for 20+ years: Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect. He cheated against Randy Orton at Backlash using the WWE Title. He dismantled R-Truth at WWE Saturday Night Main Event and allied with Logan Paul, but lost thanks to the return of Ron Killings. At Night of Champions, he cheated his way to beating CM Punk, and now we are here, as Cody Rhodes earned his rematch by winning the WWE King of the Ring Tournament. Cody Rhodes wants to take back what’s his, and that’s the WWE Undisputed Championship. After the chaotic contract signing in which John Cena tried to avoid the match from happening, Cody Rhodes forcefully made John Cena sign the contract to make it an official match, but also a Street Fight for the WWE Undisputed Title. With much at stake and no disqualification, anything can go. Cody Rhodes is looking to put down John Cena and reclaim his throne at the top of the mountain.

  • At WWE Evolution, we were amid a classic as IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley were tearing the house down and fighting in the crowd to see who could be the WWE Women’s World Champion. As everyone was out, Naomi cashed in her WWE Women’s Money in the Bank Briefcase. She became a 3-time WWE Women’s Champion and stole the show as everyone left shocked, as they couldn’t believe Naomi finally pulled the trigger. She became the face of the RAW Women’s Division and declared she would run hotshot around the division. IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley have a chance at redemption, as in a Triple Threat Match, Naomi doesn’t need to be pinned to lose her title. Will Naomi have a short run, or will she proceed to cause chaos and retain the title, taking down two of the best women wrestlers in the world?

  • For months, Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch have been making each other’s lives a living hell. Once friends and tag partners, they turned to envy and jealousy. The first match between the two happened at Backlash as Lyra Valkyria stole the win and retained her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title against Becky Lynch. But the next month, Lyra Valkyria lost her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title at Money in the Bank to Becky Lynch, in which Becky Lynch wanted her to say Becky Lynch is better. At WWE Evolution, in a Triple Threat Match, Becky Lynch stole one to retain her title. For the past months, these two have been going at it. Once a mentor under Becky Lynch, Lyra grew envious of her student, so Becky Lynch stabbed her in the back. The series is 1-1, and in an Anything Goes Match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title, Lyra Valkyria has one final chance to win the title she lost in June, but if she doesn’t, she can’t challenge for the title as long as Becky Lynch is champion. Lyra Valkyria has one more go at getting the Women’s Intercontinental Title, but Becky Lynch plans not to let her get it back. Who’ll win the Rubber Match as Lyra Valkyria wants to be a 2-time WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion?

  • Jacob Fatu has been dealing with Solo Sikoa for the past two months. It all dates back to Money in the Bank when Jacob Fatu cost Solo Sikoa his shot at winning the Money in the Bank Briefcase and took him out completely from the match. A match was set for WWE Night of Champions for the WWE United States Title. As the match was going on, Tonga Loa and the debuting Talla Tonga helped Solo Sikoa win his first Main Roster Singles Title, and he became the WWE United States Champion. They took out Jacob Fatu for a couple of weeks, but at Saturday Night Main Event, saving his cousin Jimmy Uso, Jacob Fatu attacked. Now, with a lot of tension boiling over and outside interference, a Steel Cage Match was set as Solo Sikoa defends his WWE United States Title against Jacob Fatu inside a Steel Cage. The werewolf has no remorse for what he’ll do to Solo Sikoa. Once upon a time, a man used to say “I love you too,” but now he despises and hates. With a bunch of metal surrounding them, what chaos will ensue inside the Steel Cage Structure?

  • Dominik Mysterio won the WWE Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 41 after pinning his stablemate Finn Balor. Since then, he has had a successful title defense with a little bit of cheating. AJ Styles comes into the frame. The former 1-time WWE Intercontinental Champion has had issues with The Judgment Day. He has been targeting Dominik Mysterio and the WWE Intercontinental Championship by secretly stalking Dominik Mysterio and becoming a janitor, a chuffer, and a medical doctor. He has been making Dominik Mysterio’s life a living hell, and even General Manager Adam Pearce has had enough of Dominik Mysterio’s games, as he has been running away from seeing if the injury he sustained is gone, but he attacked AJ Styles. In a Six-Person Mixed Tag Team Match, AJ Styles pinned Dominik Mysterio on the go-home Monday Night RAW show. With the momentum on AJ Styles’ side, we could see the Phenomenal One become a 2-time WWE Intercontinental Champion.

  • Tables, Ladders, and Chairs… 25 years ago, we saw the first-ever rendition of that match at WWE SummerSlam, and 25 years later, we see it again. Twelve superstars and six teams will fight for the WWE Tag Team Championships. The SmackDown tag team division has been competitive; all the teams involved have one goal: to be the face of the SmackDown Tag Division. Andrade and Rey Fenix were battling the Wyatt Sicks for the WWE Tag Team Titles, but interference caused the match to end. All the tag teams came out and caused a huge brawl, which prompted Nick Aldis, the General Manager of SmackDown, to say he had had enough and made the match for SummerSlam. Six teams and twelve wrestlers, the biggest TLC Match ever, with high stakes—who will climb and proclaim their stake at the top of the SmackDown Division?
