The March 17th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Episode Rundown:
This is one of the highly anticipated matches from this event, as WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne will be defending her title in a Triple Threat Match against Sol Ruce who was screwed over by Zaria when she earned her opportunity a few weeks back, and Zaria, who got her match ruined by Sol Ruca, who ended her chances in a DQ Finish. The buzz around this match is there; now we will have some chaos before WWE NXT Stand & Deliver.
Tonight we celebrate Booker T as we are on his home turf of Houston, Texas as we show appreciaition to the 6x World Champion, 4x United States Champion, 1x WWE Intercontinental Champion, 2x WWE Hardcore Champion, 14x Tag Team Champion, 6x WCW World Television Champion, 2006 King of the Ring Winner, 2x WWE Hall of Famer, 9th WCW Triple Crown Champion, 16th Triple Crown Champion, and the 8th Grand Slam Champion. He’s a Legend in many eyes, we celebrate Mr. Booker T tonight on NXT.
Tatum Paxley will defend her WWE NXT Women’s North American Title for the first time against the woman she beat for the title, Izzi Dame, as this feud has to end. The General Manager of NXT, Robert Stone, announced that this match will not only be a title match, but it’ll be inside a Steel Cage. The eternally brutal structure is back, and we might see Tatum Paxley take Izzi Dame to hell tonight, who’ll come out of the structure as champion, and whose life will change after this dangerous match?
Fallon Henley has her WWE Women’s Speed Title on the line as Wren Sinclair won the No. 1 Contender’s Tournament, as she defeated Thea Hail to earn this chance. Will we see Wren Sinclair win her first piece of gold in WWE? Or will Fallon Henley hold her own and win tonight against Wren Sinclair?
Hank And Tank take on Birth Right in the Semi-Finals of the NXT Tag Team Titles No. 1 Contender’s Tournament. Birth Right has added a new member as Charlie Dempsey unites with the stable, but tonight they look to advance and try to defeat the former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions, Hank and Tank.
Los Americanos making a stop by NXT as Bravo Americano, El Grande Americano, and Rayo Americano all will be going up against The Vanity Project, who are draped in old, as Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes are the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions, and as for Jackson Drake, he’s the WWE EVOLVE World Champion. Los Americanos are riding on a hot wave, and now they are looking to continue through tonight.
