Thoughts on the February 25th Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT Episode:
Thoughts: I thought this was an entertaining show. I enjoyed the opener with Stephanie Vaquer taking down Karmen Petrovic. The Hardy Boyz came out victorious against No Quarter Catch Crew in a fun tag team match with a good crowd. Moose took down Lexis King in a very solid match between the two. Trick Williams is starting to have a shift in his character as he seems more angry, and aggressive which seems to be leading to a heel turn shortly. Lola Vice made quick work of Arianna Grace in two minutes, and in the main event, we saw the in-ring debut of Ricky Saints as he came out with the win with Je'Von Evans against the team of Ethan Page and Wes Lee. Overall very fun show, and WWE Roadblock is shaping up to be a very fun event.
The February 25th | Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT | Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Karmen Petrovic (with Ashante Adonis) in a Singles Match for the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship | Match Rating: ***.25 | A solid first-title defense for Stephanie Vaquer. Shout out to Karmen Petrovic as she had a solid showing, and has had a solid 2025 thus far. After the match, Giulia came out and challenged Stephanie Vaquer for a title for the title match which later in the night was announced for Roadblock.
2nd Match: Moose vs. Lexis King in a Singles Match for the TNA X-Division Championship | Match Rating: ***.75 | This wasn't a bad match at all I thought the chemistry was there and Lexis King looked very solid in this match this was easily one of his best performances since being in WWE this match was needed for him because it showed the improvements he has been making since arriving in NXT. To note the crowd was enjoying this one, and this was Moose's 1st ever match in WWE. After the match against Lexis King, he was confronted by Oba Femi, the WWE NXT Champion. I think Oba Femi (c) vs. Moose for the WWE NXT Championship is going to be a solid match it's also a good filler feud for Oba Femi before Stand and Deliver.
3rd Match: The Hardy Boyz (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) vs. No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne & Tavion Heights) (with Charlie Dempsey & Wren Sinclair) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | It was so cool to see The Hardy Boyz tagging in WWE again for the first time together since 2019. I thought this was a solid match and a great job by No Quarter Catch Crew as they were the perfect first opponents for Hardy's return to WWE. After the victory they stand in the ring with Fraxiom as they were talking Santino Marella came out to announce at WWE Roadblock it's gonna be The Hardy Boyz (c) vs. Fraxiom for the TNA World Tag Team Championships.
4th Match: Lola Vice vs. Arianna Grace in a Singles Match | Match Rating: N/A | This was nothing more of a quick squash match for Lola Vice as she hasn’t done much in NXT this year. Arianna Grace has been at TNA with her father being in an authority figure role. I’m not sure if this was Arianna Grace’s first match back from injury but this was just a match for Lola Vice to have her do something and make easy work of Arianna Grace.
The Main Event Match: Je’Von Evans & Ricky Saints vs. Ethan Page & Wes Lee (with Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **** | This was the match of the night. A very fun, and exciting main event. Ricky Saints had his debut in WWE as he teamed with Je'Von Evans as he faced Ethan Page and Wes Lee. I enjoyed the portion of the match where Je'Von Evans was in he was just a joy to watch in that ring as he knows how to make a match better. Ricky Saints had a very solid showing as he got the pin-fall victory for his team to secure the win in his debut. Very good way to end the night as Ricky Saints embraced the NXT Crowd, and embraced his new home in WWE. Fun show, and a solid main event.
The February 25th | WWE Tuesday Night NXT | Match of the Night: Je’Von Evans & Ricky Saints vs. Ethan Page & Wes Lee in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ****
The February 25th | Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT | Show Grade: 7.50/10 (B) | This was a very solid show all-around. Monday Night RAW and NXT have been very good this year for weekly episodes. I have to say the Men’s Division in NXT is starting to shape up again as they have a huge addition of Ricky Saints. But overall I have enjoyed NXT somewhat this year because the matches on the show have been very decent, and the NXT Women’s Division is a joy to watch because of the elite talent they have on display over there.
Next Week WWE Tuesday Night NXT | March 4th Edition | Announced Matches & Segments:
Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs. Sol Ruca & Zaria in a Tag Team Match.
Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan in a Singles Match.
Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Shawn Spears in a Singles Match for the WWE NXT North American Championship.
