My Thoughts on the February 24th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT:

My Thoughts: We witnessed three title changes, signaling that the future is now for NXT. The heel turn we anticipated was executed perfectly, with Zaria turning on Sol Ruca and costing her a shot at the WWE Women’s NXT Title. I particularly enjoyed the main event, which featured a memorable moment as Myles Borne won his first wrestling title in the closing seconds of the show. It was a fantastic way to kick off the new era. The show included some solid matches and three major title changes, leading me to believe that Jacy Jayne and Joe Hendry will soon lose their titles to rising stars, as the youth movement is gathering momentum in Orlando, Florida.

The February 24th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: DarkState (Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars) (with Cutler James & Dion Lennox) (c) vs. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) (with Jackson Drake) in a WWE NXT Tag Team Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.75 — I thought this was the right call. You are rebuilding NXT with new young talent. But I like how Shawn Michaels just pulled the trigger to have Brady Baylor and Ricky Smokes of Vanity Project get their 1st Career WWE NXT Tag Team Titles thanks from help of Tony D'Angelo who has major issues with DarkState he did state weeks back he's going to make those guys lives a living hell in which he did exactly that ending their WWE NXT Tag Team Title reign. But Vanity Project getting the win is great. I wish them a great reign as NXT is now going to have young champions again, but tonight was a great night to see the start of that.

The 2nd Match: Keanu Carver vs. Sean Legacy in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Keanu Carver invests your stocks when you can. This is a future Main Event Talent in my eyes. He has the skill-set and can be a great heel. Sean Legacy, another talent to invest your stocks in. This was a fun under-five-minute match, but it did the job for me. I really can’t wait to see how these two pan out in NXT for the long-term future of things.

The 3rd Match: Jasper Troy (c) vs. Elio LeFleur vs. Eli Knight and Jasper Troy (c) in a WWE Speed Title Triple Threat Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — This was a fast-paced, action-packed match featuring two wrestlers who're clearly a big part of the future of NXT. Elio LeFleur and Eli Knight had an amazing showing. They need an actual proper Singles Match because I'm tryna see something. Jasper Troy’s reign has concluded. I don't know what's next for him, but he did a decent job in this match. But Elio LeFleur got the win to claim his 1st-ever WWE Singles Belt as the new WWE Speed Champion. Congratulations to him.

The 4th Match: Jacy Jayne (with Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) (c) vs. Sol Ruca (with Zaria) in a WWE NXT Women’s Title Match | The Match Rating: N/A — ZaRuca is officially over, as before the start of the WWE Women’s NXT Title Match we saw the events that lccured as Zaria speared Sol Ruca in resulting also hit an F5 to help Jacy Jayne defeat Sol Ruce in four seconds to retain her WWE NXT Women’s Title. Zaria wasn’t finished as she hit another F5 onto the NXT Announcer Table with the fans being heartbroken and shocked. I thought the execution of this heel turn was excellent. We knew it was coming, but we thought during the match, but her just snapping right away caught me by surprise. Also, what a forearm Jacy Jayne displayed overall in all of this activity was quality writing. Next week, Zaria has a shot at the WWE NXT Women’s Title, but we know Sol Ruca will be lurking to make sure she doesn’t win that at all. Can’t wait to see the build for Sol Ruca and Zaria as we start the build for WWE Stand & Deliver.

The 5th Match: Thea Hail vs. Blake Monroe in a WWE Women’s Speed Title #1 Contendership Tournament Semi-Final Match | The Match Rating: N/A — I kinda knew some craziness was going to occur as Blake Monroe was attacked by the Jaida Parker which allowed Thea Hail to get another win against Blake Monroe to advance into the Final Round of the WWE Women’s Speed Title No. 1 Contender Tournament. Blake Monroe hasn’t had the best 2026; she hasn’t had luck on her side. But with Jaida Parker ruining another moment for her, it leads me to think what wicked things Blake Monroe has planned for Jaida Parker for the coming weeks in NXT. The 6th Match: Uriah Connors (with Arianna Grace, Channing Lorenzo & Lexis King) vs. Kale Dixon (with Andre Chase) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — A quick but fun match in my opinion, I thought this was some fun stuff it was very fast-paced but this match both men wanted to one up each other Kale Dixon who I haven’t seen show his true in-ring ability looked sharp in this match same with Uriah Connors. This was quite a match, and if you haven’t seen it, you should check it out. I was actually shocked by how fun this match really was. But with Uriah Connors getting the win, I assume this feud between these two is over.

The Main Event Match: Ethan Page (c) vs. Myles Borne in a WWE NXT North American Title Match | The Match Rating: **** — After years of grinding Myles Borne had his moment from telling the world how he partially deaf as a result of surviving Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn (PPHN) at birth, to working his ass off so prove to the world he can be with the top guys in WWE. Myles Borne not only became WWE NXT North American Champion, but also told a beautiful story about never giving up on your dreams, no matter what setbacks occur in your life. He had his mother and father in attendance, great news to hear as his Mother recently defeated Cancer. I was very happy for Myles Borne; he's one of the few prospects I've seen over the years improve tremendously. I'm glad we got to see his special moment tonight as he ended Ethan Page’s 273 Day Reign as the WWE NXT North American Champion, preventing him from breaking the longest reign in the history of that title. I hope Myles Borne has a great reign with the belt. Also, congratulations to Mr. Myles Borne; you did it, man.

The February 24th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT  The Match of the Night: Ethan Page (c) vs. Myles Borne in a WWE NXT North American Title Match | The Match Rating: **** —  A great way to end the night hvaing a feel-good moment for Myles Borne, who has been through a lot growing up. I thought the match itself was very solid. Ethan Page and Myles Borne were very solid in this match. I liked the ending, how everything turned out to make this a special moment. I really hope Myles Borne’s title reign is very strong, and we see some fun matches along the way.

The February 24th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Episode Grade: 7/10 (B-) — We saw three title changes as the future is now for NXT. We saw the heel turn we all expected, which was executed perfectly as Zaria turned on Sol Ruca, costing her chances at the WWE Women’s NXT Title. I enjoyed the Main Event of the show as we saw a special moment as Myles Borne won his 1st ever wrestling title in the closing moments of the show. This was a great way to start the future. We saw some solid matches, three major title changes, so I expected Jacy Jayne and Joe Hendry to soon lose their titles to someone young because the youth movement is coming together down in Orlando, Florida.
