The January 13th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match Results:

The Opening Match: Lola Vice defeated Kelani Jordan in a Singles Match | via Pin-Fall — (11:16)

The 2nd Match: Jasper Troy (c) defeated Tavion Heights in a WWE Speed Title Match | via Pin-Fall — (04:09)

The 3rd Match: Channing Lorenzo (with Arianna Grace) (c) defeated Shiloh Hill in a TNA International Title Match | via Pin-Fall — (10:36)

The Main Event Match: Joe Hendry (with Bronco Nima & Lucien Pruice) defeated Dion Lennox (with Cutler, Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars) in a No Disqualification Match | via Pin-Fall — (13:20)

My Thoughts on the January 13th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT:

My Thoughts: Overall, not a good episode of NXT. I loved the opening with Keanu Craver destroying everybody he's someone I had my eye on in EVOLVE and he's someone I can see winning the WWE NXT Title out the gate, the matches on the show outside of Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice it wasn't a good show in-ring wise, and the reset gonna take some time but I do like they're bringing in new male talent to rebuild that area, and I think NXT will get back to normal soon but please don't end the show with Dion Lennox instead have someone like a Saquon Shugars who is someone I expect to breakout this year.

The January 13th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — Best Match of the Night. I like both women in this match. I see very big futures. Kelani Jordan as a heel is something I've been slowly getting on with, and Lola Vice is someone I see making her Main Roster Debut soon. But this was a solid opener, and both women did their thing in the square circle.

The 2nd Match: Jasper Troy (c) vs. Tavion Heights in a WWE Speed Title Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Jasper Troy is someone I don’t see a high ceiling for, but Tavion Heights is going to be a star. But in this match, I knew Jasper Troy was going to retain. But this was an okay match.

The 3rd Match: Channing Lorenzo (with Arianna Grace) (c) vs. Shiloh Hill in a TNA International Title Match | The Match Rating: **.25 — A very boring, pointless match. I don't think this match was needed by any means, and not to knock Shiloh Hill because they're trying to create new names in the NXT Male Division, but they should've put Keanu Carver in a match and dismantled someone to fully introduce him. For Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo I don't see the value of him on the Main Roster I know he's a TNA Champion Holder right now but he just doesn't do anything for me he did win some belts like the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles, WWE NXT Heritage Cup Title, and now another one but I just see him as a Lower-Card guy than anything.

The Main Event Match: Joe Hendry (with Bronco Nima & Lucien Pruice) vs. Dion Lennox (with Cutler, Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars) in a No Disqualification Match | The Match Rating: *.25 — This was a very poor Main Event. I don't know why this had to close out the show. I get it like DarkState is messing with Joe Hendry, and all that, but this match wasn't good by any means, and the ending of the match was very terrible. All-around, a very poor match, and did nothing for both superstars. Tony D'Angelo intervened and added to the drama. But this wasn't good.

The January 13th WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match of the Night:  Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: ***.25

The January 13th Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Episode Grade: 4.25/10 (D) — Overall, this wasn’t a good episode of NXT. The highlight for me was the opening, with Keanu Craver destroying everyone. I’ve had my eye on him since EVOLVE, and he feels like someone who could win the WWE NXT Title right out of the gate. Aside from Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice, the in-ring action throughout the show was weak. I understand the brand is in a reset phase, and that’s going to take some time, but I do like that they’re bringing in new male talent to rebuild the division. I’m confident NXT will get back to normal soon. That said, they really shouldn’t end the show with Dion Lennox. Someone like Saquon Shugars, whom I expect to break out this year, would be a much stronger choice.

2. Josh Briggs vs. Shiloh Hill in a WWE NXT Title Qualifying Match.

3. Sean Legacy vs. Eli Knight in a WWE NXT Title Qualifying Match.

4. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) (with Jackson Drake) vs. Chase U (Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors) in a Tag Team Match.
