Thoughts on the January 21st Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT Show:
Thoughts: I'm gonna keep this short and quick to the point this wasn't an eventful episode the matches on this show was poor and I don't like the direction for majority of the storylines. Outside of the Bayley and Roxanne Perez stuff the show has been very stale, and not creative and lack a direction.
The January 21st, Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Tony D’Angelo (with Adriana Rizzo, Channing Lorenzo, and Luca Crusifino) (c) vs. Ridge Holland for the WWE NXT North American Championship - Match Rating: *.75 - Ridge Holland push needs to end because this has been horrid. No one likes him. He isn't entertaining. Once he's back on the Main Roster he will be mostly a lower mid - card act who'll get a push in the beginning. Tony D'Angelo didn't have a fun performance as well which is shocking in my opinion. But this match I rather have wiped from my memory.
2nd Match: Wes Lee (Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont) vs. Dion Lennox in a Singles Match - Match Rating: N/A - A very pointless match. Wes Lee hasn’t connect with me in quite sometime his heel run hasn’t been good he’s a natural as a babyface. Dion Lennox is getting TV time which is fine hopefully they can allow him be in longer matches to show if he can really wrestle with others.
3rd Match: Lexis King (c) vs. Charlie Dempsey (with Myles Borne, Tavion Heights, and Wren Sinclair) for the WWE NXT Heritage Cup Championship - Match Rating: *** - This was a solid match. Lexis King has improved a lot since coming from AEW to NXT. Charlie Dempsey as usual had a great showing as he's one of the most underrated acts on NXT. Lexis King beats Charlie Dempsey agains as he got him at 2-1. What's next for Lexis King I don't know after this but I hope for Charlie Dempsey his call - up comes soon.
4th Match: Karmen Petrovic (with Ashante Adonis) vs. Jaida Parker in a Singles Match - Match Rating: * - I have not enough words for this match. Just wasn't that good at all. I thought these two clashing would turn out to be solid but it didn't turn out good whatsoever.
5th Match: Brooks Jensen & Niko Vance (with Shawn Spears) vs. The D’Angelo Family (Channing Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino) (with Adriana Rizzo) in a Tag Team Match - Match Rating: N/A - I kinda like the pairing between Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance. But this match was okay.
The Main Event Match: Oba Femi (c) vs. Eddy Thorpe for the WWE NXT Championship - Match Rating: ***.25 - An okay title defense to close out the show. Oba Femi puts down Eddy Thorpe as he demolished him in the Main Event and I'm assuming that;s the end of that feud. Now Oba Femi can move on to more serious challengers I hope in the thin NXT Men's Division.

The January 21st, Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT Show Grade: 3.75/10 (D+) - Lack of Creativity on this show, and the whole show direction has been very dull. They need to spice things up and the men’s division need major help at the moment.
