3rd Match: Gigi Dolin, Shotzi & Tatum Paxley defeats Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx) in a Six - Women Tag Team Match by Pin - Fall (10:14)

Thoughts on the January 7th Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT Show:
Thoughts: A very solid episode of NXT. I thought them crowning Giulia & Oba Femi as the new World Champions indicted that a new era has arrived. The Rock made an appearance which was cool he had a blast I can tell. Overall a very fun episode of NXT.
The January 7th, Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT: New Year’s Evil Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Giulia for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship - Match Rating: ****.25 - This was the match of the night. A great way to start off NXT. A huge title change. I'm assuming now Roxanne Perez will be moving up to the Main Roster. Giulia now will be the leader of the NXT Women's Roster. I expect her to go on a crazy run as the Champion.
2nd Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Cora Jade vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice in a WWE NXT Women’s North American Number One Contenders Fatal - Four Way Match - Match Rating: ***.25 - Right choice of the winner, Stephanie Vaquer winning was 100% the best choice. But the match itself was fine there was a lot of good action, I thought all the women in the match did well. But I'm really interested in this women's division it's gonna be exciting how it goes in 2025.
3rd Match: Gigi Dolin, Shotzi & Tatum Paxley vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx) in a Six - Women Tag Team Match - Match Rating: *** - The new women's group with Gigi Dolin, Shozti, and Tatum Paxley has been going well I genuinely like this group it gives something for these there women. Fatal Influence get the lost which caught me by surprise but they need to establish the new group and make them feel important in this division.
4th Match: Lexis King (c) vs. Charlie Dempsey (with Myles Borne, Tavion Heights & Wren Sinclair) for the WWE Heritage Cup Championship in a Sudden Death Rules Match - Match Rating **.50 - Brian Pillman Jr. has improved a lot in since joining WWE in 2023. I thought this match was fine nothing to special. I like the fact Brian Pillman Jr. finally proved himself and still is the WWE NXT Heritage Cup Champion. I think this run is a make or break for him as champion. But I do think he'll do fine by Champion in my opinion.
The Main Event Match: Trick Williams (c) vs. Oba Femi vs. Eddy Thorpe in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE NXT Championship - Match Rating: **.75 - The Ruler is finally the World Champion of NXT. I thought they would hold it off until Stand & Deliver but now he's the face of NXT. Trick Williams is moving to the Main Roster in the near future so I understand the reasoning of why he had to drop the title. But this was a fine Triple Threat Match.

The January 7th, Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT: New Year’s Evil Show Grade: 7.25/10 (B-) - I thought this was a very fun episode of NXT. They really started a new era with new World Champs on the Men’s & Women’s side. I’m really excited with the new champs because it’s like a fresh of new air for NXT really happy for Oba Femi and Giulia they are going to dominate and elevate both of their divisions. The Rock made a surprise appearance which was cool he sounded super drunk but he had a great time out there. NXT I really hope has a great year the Women’s side is super elite as they have so many amazing talent the men need a lot of work but I do think some breakout stars will emerge on that side. But overall a solid start for NXT to start their 2025 with the reset they did.
