Thoughts on the April 1st | Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT on CW:
Thoughts: A very solid all-around episode of NXT. Stephanie Vaquer relinquished her WWE NXT Women's North American Championship. Two Qualifying Matches took place as Zaria and Kelani Jordan punched their ticket to WWE Stand & Deliver to get a chance to be WWE NXT Women's North American Champion. Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans had a very intense promo battle. In the Main Event, we saw Ricky Saints becoming the new WWE NXT North American Champion. Overall, it was a very fun in-ring-based episode of NXT.

The Opening Match: Zaria (with Sol Ruca) vs. Lash Legend (with Jakara Jackson) in a Singles Match in a WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Qualifying Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | Zaria is the first lady to be in the Stand & Deliver Match for the vacant WWE NXT Women's North American Championship. This match was very solid. Lash Legend is super underrated I hope they have a last-chance match that she could win because I want her at Stand & Deliver in this match. But other than that, it was a very fun opener, and I'm very excited for that match at Stand & Deliver, where six women will fight to be the next WWE Women's North American Champion. Lash Legend is hoping something good comes her way eventually.
2nd Match: No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne & Tavion Heights) (with Charlie Dempsey & Wren Sinclair) vs. Hank And Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **.25 | A very poor tag team match. I want No Quarter Catch Crew to do more as a team because they have been stagnant since their match against Fraxiom for the titles. But Hank and Tank have been on a losing streak and have been trying to find something to get them where they need to be the storyline is enticing, but the matches haven't been that enticing. We could see changes in the coming weeks with them, but overall, it was a poor tag team match.
3rd Match: Kelani Jordan vs. Roxanne Perez in a Singles Match in a WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Qualifying Match | Match Rating: ****.25 | A very good match between these two ladies. I thought going into this match that Roxanne Perez was going to win to punch her ticket to Stand and Deliver, but Kelani Jordan did that. A very good choice as Roxanne Perez is almost on her way out of NXT as she's potentially one of the next few NXT Superstars who'll be called up to the Main Roster in the coming weeks.
The Main Event Match: Shawn Spears (with Brooks Jensen, Izzi Dame & Niko Vance) (c) vs. Ricky Saints in a Singles Match for the WWE NXT North American Championship | Match Rating: ***.75 | A good main-event match for NXT. Shawn Spears's reigns were the definition of transitional, but he did a great job elevating this feud, making it important to help Ricky Saints get his first taste of gold in WWE as he is the new WWE NXT North American Champion. At the end of the show, we saw Ethan Page taking out Ricky Saints and holding the WWE NXT North American Championship to end the show.

The April 1st | Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT on CW | Episode Grade: 8/10 (B+) | I thought this was a very fun episode of NXT. Four matches that got good enough time. The women were the main focus of the show after Stephanie Vaquer relinquish the WWE NXT Women's North American Championship so a match at Stand & Deliver is placed but their needs to be six women so qualifying matches started and we have two entries in Zaria and Kelani Jordan.
