My Thoughts on the May 13th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT:

My Thoughts: Not the most exciting episode of NXT. I thought this episode lacked in a lot of areas. I did enjoy the Myles Borne promo, which was very passionate and great, and I thought it helped him get over even more with the WWE Crowd. The matches on the show lacked outside of one match which was the main event the matches didn't do it for me but the past couple weeks they have been producing very good in-ring product for the shows this episode overall was a let-down next week card does look strong in terms of in-ring as there couple matches I exicted for but this was was one of the more dull episodes of NXT from this year.

The May 13th | Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Oba Femi vs. Charlie Dempsey (with Myles Borne, Tavion Heights & Wren Sinclair) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.50 | A very solid opening match bout. Charlie Dempsey is one of the more polished in-ring technicians in NXT. He gave Oba Femi a very good match. I like how the match was spread out, and I felt like this match met my expectations. Oba Femi looked very strong in this match as well. His in-ring ability has vastly improved a It's like each match he's getting better and more polished in the ring, which was needed for him. He'll be facing Myles Brone, who's part of Charlie Dempsey's stable, the No Quarter Catch Crew. So this match showed what challenges Myles Borne will have to conquer if he wants to beat Oba Femi and become NXT Champion.

2nd Match: Wes Lee (with Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont) vs. Tony D’Angelo in a Singles Match | Match Rating: **.75 | Not the best of matches between these two. There were a couple of solid moments and some sloppy moments. Stacks distracted Tony D'Angelo, which allowed Wes Lee to secure the victory. Wes Lee's stock hadn't been this low ever; the interest levels in him are so low it isn't even funny. But Tony D'Angelo has his mind focused on Stacks, as at WWE Battleground, they'll face off in a match; hopefully, a stipulation will be added to further the feud being told between them.

3rd Match: Myles Borne vs. Ethan Page in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | Myles Borne is a very talented wrestler. This match showed that they trusted a long-time veteran to make him look good in Ethan Page, and he just did that. Myles Botne got the win in a roll-up victory and has much added momentum on his side before the biggest match of his career at WWE Battleground as he faces the WWE NXT Champion in Oba Femi. NXT pushing new talent is a great idea; see if they can swim or sink. Myles Borne will swim and be established after WWE Battleground.

4th Match: Thea Hail vs. Tatum Paxley in a Singles Match | Match Rating: N/A | They are starting to show Tatum Paxley going more insane as both of her stablemates were released a couple of weeks back. This storyline, I hope, does wonders for her because she’s a highly underrated talent on NXT. Thea Hail, who I also think is very underrated, was doing well until the match came to the DQ conclusion.

The Main Event Match: Jordynne Grace & Stephanie Vaquer vs. Fatal Influence (Fallom Henley & Jacy Jayne) in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **** | The streak of great matches Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace have been on has fully revitalized my joy for NXT since they arrived. They have been consistently the best acts of NXT. This match was full of fun. I liked the fact that Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne got this spot tonight because they have been a solid unit since the beginning of the formation of this stable. The match itself was hard-hitting and a boatload of fun. What I like about this match is that it felt smooth, and the pacing of the match was very good. They kicked into every gear possible, and we saw Jordynne Grace and Stephanie Vaquer get the win. The WWE Battleground Match is the match I'm most excited about. It's going to be electric, and we might see a new NXT Women's Champion.

The May 13th | Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT | Episode Grade: 5.25/10 (C-) | I thought this was one of the poorer and duller episodes of NXT. Outside of one stellar match, the show lacked a lot. The Contract Signing between Joe Hendry and Trick Williams didn’t do much for me as well as I didn’t feel sold on this bout at Battleground. Other than that, at least next week's card looks very promising and strong, so hopefully a bounce-back episode on the go-home show for NXT before they head to WWE Battleground PLE.
