My Thoughts on the August 12th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT:

My Thoughts: A good episode of NXT. I have been waiting for a very good episode, and there were three very good matches from this card. Lash Legend and Nia Jax were such a good match, and I thought Nia Jax winning was fine by how she won. I do think a rematch is coming soon. Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice were taking on Fatal Influence, and we saw how Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice did, and they got the win. The Main Event, we saw how Eight Men tore the house down in a super fun Eight-Man Tag Team Match. Afterwards, we saw a very good brawl between Hank and Tank, and DarkState. I liked how this episode was, and this is proof that NXT can be fun with good matches, so continue to do that and build the Men's Division again.

The August 12th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Nia Jax vs. Lash Legend in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: **** — This was a very good match, and Lash Legend looked very good in this match and this first match, as I know a couple more will happen in this feud, and Nia Jax and Lash Legend tore it down for the opener. The ending of the match protected Lash Legend as the weight of Nia Jax got to her, and she lost as she hit another Annihilator to win the match with ease.

2nd Match: Joe Hendry vs. Charlie Dempsey (with Wren Sinclair) in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Say his Name and he appears. Joe Hendry had made quick work of Charlie Dempsey, and I wasn’t happy they had been treating Charlie Dempsey like he was some scrub as of late. I’m kinda tired of Joe Hendry and need to ditch these comedic relief guys and focus on the young talent.

3rd Match: Kelani Jordan & Lola Vice vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henely & Jacy Jayne) (with Jazmyn Nyx) in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: ***.50 — This match was very solid. I liked all the women involved in this match. I'm very much glad Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice got the much-needed win, and now at WWE Heatwave, we will determine a Number One Contender Match in Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice, which will deliver, and we will figure out who Jacy Jayne's next challenger will be.

4th Match: Alba Fyre (with Piper Niven) vs. Kendal Grey in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This was a quick one, but I’m glad two talented women had a match. Alba Fyre hasn’t been booked the best since her NXT UK day’s but she is a joy to watch. Kendel Grey has a lot of potential and upside, but she came up short as Alba Fyre won this match with ease.

The Main Event Match: DarkState (Cutler James, Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars) vs. Je’Von Evans, Moose, Oba Femi & Trick Williams in an Eight-Man Match | The Match Rating: ****.50 — Now this was a car crash of a Main Event. We saw Eight-Men in this match, and all of them had a good performance. There was chaos, drama, and hard-hitting. Je'Von Evans was the main highlight for me in this match. He was off the charts. He was the guy in this match. He had the crowd behind him, but Trick Williams during this match was selfish, and that played a factor as DarkState got the win. But after the match, we saw the chaos ensue more as the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Hank and Tank attacked DarkState to get their revenge on what happened last week after their Tag Team Title Match against Chase U.

The August 12th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT  The Match of the Night: DarkState (Cutler James, Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars) vs. Je’Von Evans, Moose, Oba Femi & Trick Williams in an Eight-Man Match | The Match Rating: ****.50

The August 12th Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Episode Grade: 8.25/10 (B+) — A solid episode of NXT featuring three great matches. Lash Legend vs. Nia Jax was entertaining, and I think a rematch is likely after Jax's win. Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice defeated Fatal Influence, showcasing their skills. The Main Event was an exciting Eight-Man Tag Team Match that delivered. Afterward, there was a brawl between Hank, Tank, and DarkState. Overall, this episode proved NXT can deliver fun matches, so I hope they continue building the Men's Division.
