The August 5th | Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Episode Rundown:

• Nia Jax will have her first NXT Match since 2016 as she’ll face Thea Haiul. She came back to NXT last week as she took out Lash Legend in her match against Fallon Henley of Fatal Influence and lost her match because of it. Nia Jax is looking to make quick work of Thea Hail tonight on NXT.

• Blake Monroe has made a lot of enemies in her short time in WWE. But tonight she’ll face Kelani Jordan after what transpired last week. Blake Monroe also has to watch her back for Jordynne Grace, as she’ll be lurking and wanting to get her hands on Blake Monroe.

• Lexis King has been making accusations that Myles Borne isn’t deaf and trying to say he has been lying this whole time, but a match was made by the General Manager of NXT in Ava Raine for this match to take place tonight.

• Sol Ruca has a huge title defense as she’ll be facing Tatum Paxley of The Culling. The Culling has been on Sol Ruca’s neck for the past month as she beat Izzi Dame in a Match to defend her title, and now will face another member of The Culling Tonight.

• Hank And Tank have been holding on to the NXT Tag Team Titles with pride, but the pride of NXT in Chase U got a shot at the titles. The newly revamped University, with new students, has a chance to win some titles. Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors have the biggest opportunity of their young careers as they have a chance to become NXT Tag Team Champions if they pull the massive upset tonight.

• Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, the current WWE NXT Heritage Cup Title Holder, had some words to say to Yoshiki Inamura, which made him irate. So tonight, an angry Yoshiki Inamura will take on Channing “Stack” Lorenzo in the square circle.

5. Hank And Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) (c) vs. Chase U (Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors) (with Andre Chase) in a WWE NXT Tag Team Title Match.

6. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Yoshiki Inamura in a Singles Match.
