My Thoughts on the May 27th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT:
My Thoughts: A very good show after their WWE Battleground PLE. I like the shock factor from this episode as we saw two unexpected title changes: Ethan Page becoming the new WWE NXT North American Champion, and Jacy Jayne defeating Stephanie Vaquer to earn her first-ever WWE NXT Women's Championship. There was a lot of good stuff in this episode. We saw Mike Santana make his WWE Debut as he had a very solid match with Tavion Heights of No Quarter Catch Crew. Jaida Parker made quick work of Tatum Paxley and the LFG Season One Winner for the men's side, Jasper Troy made his debut as he squashed Dante Chen to make his first impression on NXT, as he's touted to be on a huge push since winning LFG. Very solid episode I can see that Jodrynne Grace & Stephanie Vauqer's time in NXT is over as it has been rumored that Stephanie Vaquer is heading to Money Night RAW and Jordynne Grace is heading to Friday Night SmackDown both had amazing runs but it's time for them to run full-time with the best of the best. Very good, strong episode, and I'm excited about the future of NXT.

The Opening Match: Ricky Saints (c) vs. Ethan Page in a Singles Title Match for the WWE NXT North American Championship | Match Rating: ***.75 | We opened up the show with a shocking title change as I thought this was one of the final matches of Ethan Page run in NXT as he will be moved to the Main Roster but not as he's the new WWE NXT North American Champion as now he is set to defend his title at Worlds Collide in a Fatal-Four Way Match. Ricky Saints, I expect him to try to regain the title or move on to the Oba Femi. But this was a great start, and I love the shock factor.
2nd Match: Mike Santana vs. Tavion Heights (with Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne & Wren Sinclair) in a Singles Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | A very fun opportunity for Tavion Heights, and he had a very solid showing. Mike Santana in WWE is so wild. I never would have expected to see him in WWE, but here we are. This was a very fun match. I like the improvement that Tavion Heights has made for himself as he looks so much better than he was around this time last year. He's a future champion in WWE. has possesses a lot of traits and skills you need to succeed. But Mike Santana won his debut in WWE and now shifts his focus to the direction of getting the TNA World Championship from Trick Williams.
3rd Match: Jaida Parker vs. Tatum Paxley in a Singles Match | Match Rating: N/A | After a brief interaction last week, what made this match for tonight was very quick, wish this was a lot longer because both women are very talented. Hoping in the future they give them a longer match because I really wanna see if these two can give a solid match.
4th Match: Jasper Troy vs. Dante Chen in a Singles Match | Match Rating: N/A | This was a squash match to debut the LFG Season One winner, Jasper Troy. As we saw weeks back, he attacked the WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi to make a good first impression. So I expect a huge push for him. But it was a solid first little match to get his feet wet before he takes a huge dive to see if he can swim with the best of them in NXT.
The Main Event Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Jacy Jayne (with Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx) in a Singles Title Match for the WWE NXT Women's Championship | Match Rating: **** | A very solid main event match with a shocking ending as we saw the ending of Stephanie Vaquer's NXT run and run as the WWE NXT Women's Champion. I didn't expect Jacy Jayne now to be the face of the NXT Women's Side of Things, but here we are. This was a very solid match, had a lot of back-and-forth action and drama. I didn't expect what happened at the end because I thought Stephanie Vaquer was going to manage to retain her title and go on to World Collide and have the title with her representing NXT. But now we can tell her time with the brand is over, and she will be shifting to the Main Roster as she's rumored to be joining the Money Night RAW Brand. Happy for Jacy Jayne, she deserves this very underrated talent in NXT, and I hope she has a solid run with the title.

The May 27th | Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT | Episode Grade: 7.25/10 (B-) | Two unexpected title changes, and the debut of Mike Santana on WWE Television. It was a very solid episode of NXT. I like the direction they are heading now.
