My Thoughts on the October 21st Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT:
My Thoughts: Very underwhelming go-home show before WWE Halloween Havoc, but I'll say this: the promo that Ricky Saints gave was one of the best promos of WWE in the calendar year. He has been hitting his stride in NXT, and he has been doing well since winning the NXT Title. But other than that, the show was very boring, and it sucks to see Sol Ruca having to cough up her title, but I do think it's a kayfabe injury. But regardless, hope she feels better, and that's really wraps things up.NXT needs to push actual good talent and not someone like Channing Lorenzo.
The October 21st Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Leon Slater (with Je'Von Evans) (c) vs. Channing Lorenzo (with Arianna Grace) in a TNA X-Division Title Match | The Match Rating: **.75 — I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible but I really don't want Leon Slater to go up against wrestlers who probably won't see the Main Roster anytime soon because I feel like we could of got Leon Slater taling on someone like Tavion Heights and it would've been such a fun match but this match against Channing Lorenzo was very average and it wasn't on Leon Slater more so on Channing Lorenzo who has been getting pushed for a while now. Leon Slater won and retained his TNA X-Division Title, and afterwards we saw Him & Je'Von Evan, who now have a partnership with one another and will face Mr. Iguana and La Parka at WWE Halloween Havoc this coming Saturday in a Tag Team Match, which I'm very excited about.
2nd Match: Jasper Troy vs. Zachary Wentz in a WWE Speed Title Number One Contendership Tournament Semi-Final Match | The Match Rating: N/A — The Speed Matches aren't my cup of tea, the title is a waste in my opinion. But Jasper Troy, who hasn't been since on TV for a while, got the win over Zachary Wentz in a brutal beatdown.
3rd Match: Axiom vs. Sean Legacy in a WWE Speed Title Number One Contendership Tournament Semi-Final Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Axiom on NXT TV weas a delight to see as he took down Sean Legacy in a fun match with time clocking down he got the win and advances to the next round as he'll face Jasper Troy in the Final Round Matchup to see who'll take on El Grande Americano for the WWE Speed Title.
4th Match: Out the Mud (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs. Hank And Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) in a Tag Team Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Out the Mud are back and take made quick work of the former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions in Hank and Tank but I'll say this they been trying with Out the Mud for a long time and it just hasn't been working and they need to just give on trying to push these men.
The Main Event Match: Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne & Lainey Reid) (with Fallon Henley) vs. The Culling (Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley | The Match Rating: **.50 — This match was okay to say the least very underwhelming but I'm glad Tatum Paxley who has been super underrated for many years is getting her spot to shine, because she has been somene who has been overlooked and it was quite ridiculous but the Fatal Influence got the win and Lainey Reid looked very solid in this match she is someone I'm excited to see dveelop in NXT. But Fatal Influence came out on top. I do expect Izzi Dame to turn on Tatum Paxley on Saturday, it's kinda obvious, but besides that not a bad match, but very underwhelming.
The October 21st WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match of the Night: Leon Slater (with Je'Von Evans) (c) vs. Channing Lorenzo (with Arianna Grace) in a TNA X-Division Title Match | The Match Rating: **.75
The October 21st Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Episode Grade: 4.25/10 (D+) — This was a very much lackluster episode. NXT has been up and down this year with a mix of some good moments. But this episode was very boring outside of the fun WWE NXT Title Contract Signing Segment.
