My Thoughts on the October 28th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT:
My Thoughts: This wasn't a bad episode whatsoever. This was a very fun episode with some chaos as Trick Williams was going insane after his loss against Ricky Saints at WWE Halloween Havoc, and a brawl that ensued throughout the night was a highlight. The matches on the show were very solid, and we saw Kelani Jordan turn heel to retain her TNA Knockouts World Title. This is what NXT should be about. The main priority should be the young talent and not putting TNA and AAA Wrestlers, let the young talent develop.
The October 28th Episode of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match Ratings:
The Opening Match: Jasper Troy vs. Axiom in a WWE Speed Title Number One Contendership Tournament Final Match | The Match Rating: N/A — Jasper Troy winning wasn’t a shock, now he goes on to face the WWE Speed Champion El Grande Americano II as the match will take place in two weeks.
2nd Match: Kendal Grey (with Wren Sinclair) (c) vs. Lash Legend in a WWE EVOLVE Women’s Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.25 — Lash Legend seems to be on her way to the Main Roster, in which Triple H views her highly while in NXT, HBK don't think does to the extent of how Triple H does. But this was a decent match by any means. Kendal Grey, I heard reports earlier in the year that she was highly touted, and she had a successful defense against Lash Legend wonder what's next for her as the WWE Women's EVOLVE Champion.
3rd Match: Myles Borne vs. Tavion Heights in a Singles Match | The Match Rating: *** — This match was very solid, and I like both men as I think they have great upside to be very good in WWE. But I was enjoying the match until Josh Bruggs inserted himself and interfered, which made me bump down a point from this match. But Tavion Heights, I expect to have an outstanding 2026. This man can be a cornerstone piece to WWE for the foreseeable future of this company.
4th Match: Tatum Paxley (with Izzi Dame) (c) vs. Lola Vice in a WWE NXT Women’s Title Match | The Match Rating: N/A — This match never got into action as Fatal Influence stuck their nose in and caused the match to become a No Contest. I was scared and thought Tatum Paxley was going to lose her title after a couple of days of holding it.
The Main Event Match: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Jordynne Grace in a TNA Knockouts World Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.75 — This was a very good Main Event, another episode where the women shine, as we saw on Monday Night RAW and with NXT. Kelani Jordan finally turned heel for the first time in her career as she used the title to crack Jordynne Grace across the head as Ricky Saints and Trick Williams were fighting on the outside. I hope this heel run is well for Kelani Jordan because she doesn't give me heel vibes, but I said the same thing with Roxanne Perez, and look at her now. But this feud between Jordynne Grace and Kelani Jordan is far from over, and I'm interested to see where this feud goes. I also hope this is Jordynne Grace's final feud in NXT, as SmackDown needs her badly.
The October 28th WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Match of the Night: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Jordynne Grace in a TNA Knockouts World Title Match | The Match Rating: ***.75
The October 28th Edition of WWE Tuesday Night NXT — The Episode Grade: 6.50/10 (C+) — This wasn't a bad episode at all. It was a very entertaining show, highlighted by the chaos as Trick Williams went wild following his loss to Ricky Saints at WWE Halloween Havoc, and the ensuing brawl throughout the night stood out. The matches were solid, and we witnessed Kelani Jordan turn heel to retain her TNA Knockouts World Title. This is what NXT should be about: focusing on young talent. The main priority should be giving opportunities to up-and-coming wrestlers, rather than prioritizing TNA and AAA stars. Let the young talent develop.
Next Week WWE Tuesday Night NXT November 4th Episode — The Announced Matches & Segments:
