My Thoughts on the WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Worlds Collide:

My Thoughts: What an incredible show this was; WWE delivered its best in-ring event in years, and the same goes for Triple-A. The event featured numerous thrilling spots and fantastic moments. The Six-Man Tag, Fatal Four-Way, and Main Event Matches were all entertaining. As long as this continues, I believe this partnership will thrive, provided that Triple-A avoids the issues it's faced in recent years.

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Worlds Collide | Match Ratings:

The Opening Match: Aero Star, Mr. Iguana & Octagon Jr. vs. LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Dragon Lee) & Lince Dorado in a Six-Man Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **** | The match was a red-hot opener to start the partnership for Triple-A and WWE. I love the in-ring action, there were some sloppy moments like Lince Dirado missing Aero Star when he hit an outside dive. But this was so much fun, I loved the presentation, how the ring was set up, and everything. This was such a hoot. Cruz Del Toro was showing out the same as Dragon Lee. Mr. Iguana became a fan favorite in seconds with his Iguana puppet, which Lince Dorado beat up. Octagon Jr. was having a marvelous performance. I know he was in TNA, but he wasn’t used often, but he had a showing at a party to a larger audience. The team of Aero Star, Mr. Igunana & Octagon Jr. got the win. Still, afterwards Dominik Mysterio came into the ring insulting his father, and Octagon Jr. didn’t take that lightly as he went and attacked Dominik Mysterio. The brawl went from the outside into the ring. Dominik Mysterio said later tonight he’ll defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Octagon Jr. to a loud ovation from the Los Angeles crowd. All-around electrifying opener with chaotic afterwords. At least we got five matches at Money in the Bank. I know Dominik Mysterio vs. Octagon Jr. for the WWE Intercontinental Championship is going to be a Match of the Night candidate if they are allowed to go in that square circle.

2nd Match: Lola Vice & Stephanie Vaquer vs. Chik Tormenta & Dalys in a Tag Team Match | Match Rating: **.50 | This was a simple tag team match, nothing special. Stephanie Vauqer, as per usual, looked great in this match. Same with Lola Vice, who has made noticeable improvements to her in-ring ability, and it has been on display as a lot of people have been noticing. Chik Tormenta and Dalys played their part as the heels in this match, and did well. I wasn’t familiar with them, but they had a pleasant showing. Now Stephanie Vaquer can focus on the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. But an okay tag team match seemed like a filler match for this show, but it did its job.

3rd Match: Legado del Fantasma (Angel, Berto & Santos Escobar) vs. El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano & Psycho Clown in a Six-Man Tag Team Match | Match Rating: ***.25 | One of the first matches announced for this event was pretty solid. El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., who’s one of the better wrestlers in Triple-A, had a very star-studded performance in this match. But I was very happy for Legado del Fantasma. I’m a fan of all three men, as they have been underutilized as a group, and their booking over the past weeks has been exceptional in my eyes. Pagano had some cool crash and burn moments in this match, and Psycho Clown was showing out for his team. But Santos Escobar got the upper hand as he hit the Phantom Driver to help Legado del Fantasmas get the win. This was a great moment for Santos Esobar, as his solid 2023 was in limbo since then, and he had no direction. However, it seems like he’s going to be one of the faces of this partnership with Triple-A and WWE. Now, Los Garzas can prepare as they expect to be part of the TripleMania event in the future.

4th Match: Ethan Page (c) vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fenix in a Fatal-Four Way Title Match for the WWE NXT North American Championship | Match Rating: ****.25 | High Energy Match, as all men in this match delivered. Je'Von Evans needs to be a champion soon because that kid is special. Laredo Kid & Rey Fenix had some cool moments in this match as well. Ethan Page capitalized and retained his WWE NXT North American Championship and will now face Sean Legacy on Tuesday as he will defend it again against Sean Legacy.

The Main Event Match: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Chad Gable in a Singles Title Match for the AAA Mega Championship | Match Rating: ****.75 | El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable probably had the WWE Match of the Year. This was such an insane match, and I was so happy for Chad Gable getting in a Main Event spot. El Hijo del Vikingo had some crazy moments. It seems to me his knees are fine because he was doing well in this match. There were so many moments I was like Why can't WWE just allow Chad Gable to have some belt because he's amazing. El Hijo del Vikingo retained his AAA Mega Championship, and kudos to Chad Gable; he had an amazing performance and deserves to have some type of title in the future because he has been a highlight for me in WWE this year.

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Worlds Collide | Match of the Night: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Chad Gable in a Singles Title Match for the AAA Mega Championship | Match Rating: ****.75

WWE Premium Live Event | WWE Worlds Collide | Event Grade: 8.25/10 (B+) | What an awesome show this was, WWE’s best in-ring show in ages, and same for Triple A. This event was filled with a lot of crazy spots and awesome moments. The Six-Man Tag’s, Fatal-Four Way & Main Event Match were all enjoyable. As long as this goes on, I think this partnership will be fine as long as Triple-A doesn’t have their moments, which they are known for, over the past couple of years.
