My Official Review on AAA Ola De Calor:
My Official Review: There were some good moments on this show, but as a whole I felt there were certain points where it dragged, and there were some unnecessary matches, like the squash match involving Chris Carter. This show could've been a lot better. It felt more like a house show, and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, considering the obvious reasons they put this event together, they should've added a little more firepower to the card. The crowd helped keep the energy up at times, but the pacing made it difficult for the show to maintain momentum from start to finish. Hopefully this was just a bridge to the bigger event, because there's a lot more potential heading into TripleMania. Overall, there were three or four matches that I really enjoyed, and now we're off to AAA TripleMania in a couple of weeks.

The Opening Match: Axiom, Mascarita Sagrada, Mr. Iguana & Noisy Boy vs. LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde), Lince Dorado & Mini Abismo Negro in an Eight-Man Tag Team Match | My Match Rating: ***.50 — A very fun opener that set the tone for the show. I really liked seeing Axiom get some time to shine, and the same goes for Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde. I've always thought they were an underrated tag team, and this match reminded me why. Overall, this was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the fast-paced action throughout, and I hope we get more matches like this at TripleMania because this style of match is always entertaining and can be a great addition to any event.
The 2nd Match: La Catalina vs. Adalicious vs. La Hiedra vs. Lady Shani vs. Thea Hail in a AAA Reina de Reinas Title No. 1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match | My Match Rating: **.25 — I expect a lot from this match maybe seeing some people from RAW and SmackDown appear and make a case in this Gauntlet Match but this was very lackluster I was very disapotined with the lack of a lot of entries for this match but the in-ring standpoint from this match was okay nothing to really hit the nail on it was very average and nothing eye-popping. Once La Catalina came into this match, that’s when I knew we had our winner of this match, as she managed to take down La Hiedra, and now at Triplemania Night Two we’ll have Flammer defend her AAA Reina de Reinas Title against La Catalina in one of the marquee matches to headline the biggest show for AAA in 2026.
The 3rd Match: The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (c) vs. Los Americanos (Bravo Americano & Rayo Americano) in a AAA World Tag Team Title Match | My Match Rating: ***.50 — A very cool epic Tag Team Title Match featuring Erik, Ivar, Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate. This was a very strong tag team match, which is something I always look for, as WWE as a whole lacks a fun Tag Division, but these guys went out there and showed why they need to show this on WWE. The War Raiders winning was a given, as they kinda spoiled it on SmackDown with their confrontation towards Damian Priest and R-Truth, but fun match, and please revert Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate to normal.
The 4th Match: El Carnicero vs. Chris Carter in a Singles Match | My Match Rating: N/A — I have to say I’m not interested in this El Carnicero character because I just can’t find that to be appealing for me. He did destroy Chris Carter to the point that the referee had to stop this match and end it by calling it a TKO. Afterwards, the Psycho Circus came out to get at El Carnicero, as he attacked a few of their members weeks and months back, but this was the weakest point of this show for me really don’t want this guy as a main focus of the weekly AAA shows.
The 5th Match: Jack Cartwheel vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Nathan Frazer in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match | My Match Rating: ****.50 — What a match; this was the best match from this show. They went the full twenty minutes, ending this match in a Time Limit Draw, which I haven’t seen on a WWE Influence show in years. Mini Vikingo is amazing; this man I wasn’t too familiar with until this year keeps on showing out countlessly every time he is on TV. Jack Carftwheel was great in this match, same with Nathan Frazer. This was a great Cruiserweight Match, even though we didn’t get a winner, but this match simply shows how amazing Cruiserweight Action truly is when it’s cared about and valued, which Undertaker seemingly is showing every time. Take notes, Triple H.
The 6th Match: La Parka vs. Damian Priest vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and El Fiscal in a AAA Latin American Title Four-Way Match | My Match Rating: **.75 — This was a match I was interested in, but I wasn't fully invested in it. I honestly didn't know who was going to come out as the champion. They also introduced a new design for the AAA Latin American Championship, and I thought it looked really nice. As for the match itself, I found it to be pretty average. Congratulations to La Parka on becoming the new AAA Latin American Champion. I'm really happy for him, as he managed to edge out Damian Priest, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., and El Fiscal to win the title.
The Main Event Match: Dragon Lee & Lucha Bros (Penta & Rey Fenix) vs. Los Perros del MAL (Angel, Berto & Daga) (with Karmen Petrovic) in a Six-Man Tag Team Match | My Match Rating: ***.75 — This was a very fun Main Event Match I really thought this match was filled with a lot of heat, drama, and fun high-flying action. It’s crazy that Undertaker knows how to make Angel & Berto look badass because Triple H never did that since being Head of Creative at WWE. Los Perros del MAL looked strong even in defeat. The Team of Dragon Lee, Penta & Rey Fenix was so much fun; they were flying around like superheroes. Even with the win, Perros del MAL attacked as the show went off the air, as this is far from over but an all-around fun Main Event.
My AAA Ola De Calor Match of the Night: Jack Cartwheel vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Nathan Frazer in a AAA World Cruiserweight Title No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match | My Match Rating: ****.50 — What a match! This was easily the best match of the show. They went the full twenty minutes, ending in a time-limit draw, which I haven't seen on a WWE-influenced show in years. Mini Vikingo continues to impress me every time he's on TV, while Jack Cartwheel and Nathan Frazer were both excellent as well. Even without a winner, this was a fantastic Cruiserweight match that proved just how exciting the division can be when it's actually valued. Take notes, Triple H.
My AAA Ola De Calor Official Event Grade: 6.25/10 (C) — There were good pieces from this show, but as a whole I felt there were certain parts where this show dragged, and there were some unneeded matches like that squash match involving Chris Carter. This show could’ve been a lot better. This felt like a House Show; that’s the vibe I really got, and it’s not a bad thing to say, but noting they made this show for obvious reasons, they should’ve added some more firepower to the show. There were three to four matches I enjoyed, and now we are off to AAA Triplemania, which is in a couple of weeks.
