My Official Review on AEW ALL IN London:
My Official Review: This was an overall fantastic AEW event that delivered several memorable moments, even if not every match hit the same level. The Brawling Birds opening the show by defeating Divine Dominion to become the NEW AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions was a great way to kick things off, while Jon Moxley and Nigel McGuinness delivered a strong Continental Title Match that showcased great in-ring storytelling. Kazuchika Okada becoming a 2x AEW International Champion in a fantastic Triple Threat was another highlight, especially with the questions surrounding Kyle Fletcher’s future with The Don Callis Family. The Casino Gauntlet was the weakest match of the night for me, but I’m excited to see Andrade El Idolo challenge Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage retaining the AEW World Tag Team Titles was a result I wasn’t thrilled with, but the aftermath showed just how stacked the tag team division has become. Darby Allin winning the TNT Championship was another great moment, while Mercedes Moné and Willow Nightingale delivered what I consider the greatest women’s match in AEW history. And then, of course, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay closed the show with what I consider the greatest match I’ve ever seen, with Ospreay winning the AEW World Championship in front of his home crowd. Overall, this was a memorable AEW event with plenty of great matches, major title changes, and storylines that have me excited for what comes next.

The Opening Match: Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) (c) vs. The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter) in an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Match | My Match Rating: ***.50 — A decent opener for this event, with The Brawling Birds competing in their home country and looking to take down the dominant Divine Dominion, and they managed to do just that! They became the first team in AEW to defeat Lena Kross and Megan Bayne, creating an awesome moment in front of the home crowd as The Brawling Birds became the NEW AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions! I really hope this division starts to heat up again because I would love to see The Brawling Birds become a true workhorse tag team for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Division. They have a great opportunity to help elevate the division and make these championships feel important again.
The 2nd Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Nigel McGuinness in an AEW Continental Title Match | My Match Rating: ****.25 — What a good match, and I have to say Nigel McGuinness IQ in this match was great. This was a great performance once again by Jon Moxley, as he was targeting the weak leg all throughout the match as he was trying to weaken Nigel McGuinness' leg, which did work in the end. But this was a very good AEW Continental Title Match, I have to say, and even though I ain't fond of this Jon Moxley character right now, I wish it was a lot better, but this match was great as he won via Submission to retain his AEW Continental Title and win the AEW Continental Challenge Cup.
The 3rd Match: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita in an AEW International Title Triple Threat Match | My Match Rating: ****.50 — This was a fantastic Triple Threat Match! I absolutely loved the One Piece tribute from Kyle Fletcher during his entrance, but the match itself was just as great. Going into this match, I really thought someone was going to turn face, and I expected that person to be Kazuchika Okada. Clearly, I was wrong! Instead, Kazuchika Okada picked up the victory, defeating Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita to become a 2x AEW International Champion. I also noticed how irritated Kyle Fletcher looked after the match, which makes me wonder if this could be the beginning of the end for him in The Don Callis Family. He certainly looked like he was fed up with Don Callis and the group. Could Kyle Fletcher be preparing to leave The Don Callis Family next? Or is this just another tease? Either way, I’m very interested to see where this story goes!
The 4th Match: Andrade El Idolo vs. Daniel Garcia vs. Jack Perry vs. Jericho vs. Komander vs. Mark Davis vs. Mike Bailey vs. Mistico vs. MJF vs. Nick Wayne vs. Tommaso Ciampa in an AEW World Title No. 1 Contender’s Casino Gauntlet Match | My Match Rating: ***.25 — The Casino Gauntlet is one of my favorite AEW Match types but needs a break for a while because this was the weakest one since the introduction of the match. Am I happy with who won? Yes. Andrade El Idolo earning a future AEW World Title Match against Will Ospreay is something I can’t wait to see because that is going to be one of the best matches from AEW this year, but this Casino Gauntlet lacked surprises; it was just people who didn’t have anything major going on outside of Andrade and MJF. Congratulations to Andrade, but I do see his feud with MJF continuing after this show.
The 5th Match: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage (c) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) in an AEW World Tag Team Titles Match | My Match Rating: **** — I wasn’t happy with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage winning this match. Honestly, it gave me the feeling that we could eventually see them turn heel in the future. I know Christian Cage’s character is already a dickhead who will do whatever it takes to win, but in this match, they were pulling every trick in the book because they knew The Young Bucks were the better team. Christian and Adam constantly tried to weaken The Young Bucks and take shortcuts, and in the end, it worked. After all their attempts to wear down the Young Bucks, they managed to get the victory and retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships. However, I really liked what happened afterward. We saw Motor City Machine Guns, FTR, The New Level, and several other teams come down to the ring, showing just how stacked and deep the AEW World Tag Team Division is right now. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage may have retained their titles, but they now have a lot of teams with their eyes on the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
The 6th Match: Kevin Knight (c) vs. Darby Allin in an AEW TNT Title Falls Count Anywhere Match | My Match Rating: ***.75 — This match had some cool moments, like the yearly Sting return to save Darby Allin, and Sting’s son jumping off the ladder was pretty cool, but this match was very decent. I’m happy that Kevin Knight got a big spot; he was in this feud throughout the summer and delivered big-time in this story that he and Darby Allin were telling. Darby Allin falling high from the stage was an awesome moment where that moment kinda signaled he was closing in, as now Darby Allin is your new AEW TNT Champion.
The 7th Match: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Mercedes Moné in an AEW Women’s World Title Match | My Match Rating: ***** — The greatest women’s match in the history of AEW was simply a masterpiece, noting Willow Nightingale was dealing with a broken hand and did her best in this match. This whole match was one big masterpiece, and I loved how they were trying to cause damage to each other throughout the match. Now we have seen it finally, as Mercedes Moné is finally the new AEW Women’s World Champion. Willow Nightingale’s gutsy performance makes her legit the best AEW Women’s Babyface I have seen in the company’s history. Amazing match, and I can’t wait for Mercedes MOné run as the Women’s World Champion of AEW.
The Main Event Match: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Will Ospreay in an AEW World Title Match | My Match Rating: ****** — Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay had the greatest match I’ve ever seen in my life. The entrances, the story, and the physical beating made this match something I’ll never experience again. This was the rubber match, a 1-1 split of the series, and both men were basically trying to end one another. Kenny Omega was playing the heel so well in this match that he was battering the hell out of Will Ospreay, and the fighting spirit of Will Ospreay made this match even better. The One Winged Angel kickout by Will Ospreay was amazing. The Tiger Drivers by both men were amazing; everything about this match was amazing. The closing stretch of this match was super memorable as Will Ospreay won it in his home country in front of his family and friends as he’s the AEW World Champion.
My AEW ALL IN London Match of the Night: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Will Ospreay in an AEW World Title Match | My Match Rating: ****** — Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay had the greatest match I’ve ever seen in my life. The entrances, story, physicality, and fighting spirit made this rubber match unforgettable. With the series tied 1-1, both men were throwing everything at each other, and Kenny Omega played the heel perfectly by beating the hell out of Ospreay. The One Winged Angel kickout, the Tiger Drivers, and the incredible closing stretch were all amazing. Seeing Will Ospreay win in his home country, in front of his family and friends, to remain AEW World Champion made this even more special.
My AEW ALL IN London Official Event Grade: 10/10 (A+) — Overall, this was a fantastic AEW event with plenty of memorable moments and major title changes. The Brawling Birds, Kazuchika Okada, Darby Allin, and Mercedes Moné all captured championships, while Andrade El Idolo earned a future AEW World Title shot. The tag team division looks stacked, and Kyle Fletcher’s future with The Don Callis Family is intriguing. But the biggest highlight was Will Ospreay defeating Kenny Omega in an unforgettable main event to become AEW World Champion in front of his home crowd.
